Since we're covered by BMI, they handle all tracking to make sure we get our royalty checks, so it's all very good, indeed. I'm quickly running out of promo copies, however...in fact, I'm totally out. Traci (singer), on the other hand, shouldn't have used any of her promos yet so I should be able to chuck some of hers if needs be. Dee Snyder: I'm sorry, but this guy is the Ted Nugent of the '80s. What, does every loud-mouthed metal feck really need a syndicated radio talk show?! "Up next on K-ROCK, the Kevin Dubrow show!" Personally, I'm gonna hold out till James Hetfield gets his turn @ the DJ mic...keep on driftin'! I mean, seriously, there are some compelling people in our musical heritage, so why must we be bombarded by the dregs?! I thought you'd find that subject funny. Anyways, nothing new with me, at my school (Birmingham-Southern College) the month of January is devoted to one class of intense (or not so intense, depending on the class) study. A lot of people travel, do research, or other, things. I'm taking a class called, "Robots, Robots, Everywhere Robots" That's the name of the class. It's pretty fun, we just build little robots, that perform pretty stupid tasks like navigating a corridor/maze type thing, finding lights in a dark room, and making very precise movements (like move perfectly forward exactly 24 inches). It's been a blast, but a WHOLE lot of work. Other than that, not much is new with me, I have the vinyl In Love remix that they were giving away at the music store, and i have no method by which to listen to it. kinda sucks. I've had a ben folds five resurgence as well. I listened to NBP, and I realized how incredibly brilliant songs like emaline were. I had just completely forgotten. I'm pretty into the entire Jump, Little Children thing right now. I really like the scene surrounding them. It's cool going to the shows, and seeing the same people and everything. Makes me wish i had caught on to bff earlier back when they did club shows, that would have been really cool. well, that's it for me. I need some more music, i've picked up a bunch of CDs, but i've still got a bit of christmas money burning a whole in my pocket. Any reccomendations. later gators, anoop >I'm listening to WaEA for the 1st time in months & I thought of a >classic question... > >What's the Bhagavad Gita? > >PLEASE DON'T ANSWER THAT!!! Hey all, I feel a wave of a really superficial letter coming on, but I have midterms next week (can we say-3! 3! AP midterms! El sucko! and I have to take a pointless pointless theology midterm. o secular, pagan college, come to me!) Anyways, right now Im watching part 2 of the Felicity date rape episode...Brian Crackhow, how could you? And did everyone know that there really is a www.noelcrane.com website? (hes the RA) and the website paints a picture of Noel being an Irish Catholic boy from southie, who went to "Fanueil High" Ha! I laugh! Anyways, I know Im just a target demographic, but that new teen WB sitcom looks really good. And Buffy tonight was this awesome episode, really revelant with prejudice and mob pyschology and it was really relevant. Speaking of southie being hip, faith the slayer is also supposed to be from there. hmmph. Playing by Heart looks good to me, but I wish it was still called Dancing about Architecture. Oh, raging teen movie Shes All That, how derivative and sucky does that look? Hahaha...guess which lucky chica had Joseph Finnes in her dream, playing tennis, last night? ~Elisabeth ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Well, I was purusing my latest issue of the MA, and with each issue, I get sadder and sadder. Now a lot of us joined the RF, and all is good and well, but I am very sad. There are lots of old members, I can't even remember them all now, Id have to check the archives, but I never hear from some old oeople on there anymore. Then I came across this post: "i really don't get how anyone could be stupid enough to spend money on a CD by a band they've never heard of before. just because a bff fan recommended it. i like the new radicals though." Wow, how sad. Because Thats how I discover lots of music is by sugguestions that you guys make. Anyway. I guess I will leave you guys alone. Oh yeah, I've done some updating on my webpage if you care to look. Mostly new links are up, its cool I guess. The URL is in my sig.
