Happy New Year to everyone. Stacy - great drunken post........ I hope you were feeling okay the following morning! I have done a fair amount of lurking this past month, so a top three of the lists from me would be: MUSIC 1. Naked Baby Photos - BFF 2. Sketches - For My Sweetheart the Drunk - Jeff Buckley 3. Internationalist - Powderfinger Chef Aid almost made it into this list purely for the songs by Chef. This CD is a work favourite (generally played quite loudly too), and unfortunately, there always seem to be guests in the office just when 'Chocolate Salty Balls" comes on - gives them quite a shock too...... BOOKS 1. Anything by Raymond Feist 2. Pilgrim - Sara Douglass 3. Tandia - Bryce Courtenay Favourite cartoon - Calvin and Hobbes MOVIES 1. Theres Soemthing About Mary 2. What Dreams May Come 3. In & Out Went away just after Xmas to a little town on the coast on the Yorke Peninsula, nothing to do there really, but i got the obligatory sunburn on my first day and then did not really see sunlight for the rest of the time I was there. Played lots of trivial pursuit, and read lots of Mills and Boon romance books (as I said, not much to do). Many chuckles were had over the "code" names for erogenous zones used in the books. Pick of the bunch was 'nubbins" which was used to describe breasts/nipples. Has anyone on the list got any other good words they have heard used for these zones? New Years Eve was great, much alcohol was consumed, leaving myself in a VERY merry state, and cheerfully I had no 'hanguober' (to quote Stacy) today.... Cheers for Jodie. Even better was the kiss I got from a very attractive guy soon after the bells chimed in the new year - & I was not the one to initiate the kiss! Alllllrrrigghttyy then! Dan: I think the best form of revenge you could have on your previous employers would be to 1) Go to work for one of their competitors and make them pay the hard way 2) Dob them in for paying you cash in hand/under the table Anne: Sending positive vibes out to your sister in law. If she can remain positive then the battle is half won. ......... wishing conBENtion could be a reality for me...... Jodie When all of this music Sounds like you know what You want to say, then it Will have been alll worth, ever You will be something complete Unto yourself, present and unique. Actually, I had a chock full of Joseph Finnes day. (okay, yesterday-i did nada today AND I missed Rufus on the today show) Instead of checking out the fun, and apocalyptic First Night Boston Opportunities, like swing dancing and the big ass ska show that my potential ska boy was going to be at, me and my bff(love the double meaning!) went home and watched reality bites and stealing beauty. I need to rebuy the reality bites soundtrack. It was all I listened to when I was 12 and I went through a severe Ethan Hawke (ewww!!!) phase. During the movie, Caitlin and I would yell at the screen "There's a patina of grease on him! Hes shiny! Chock full o' grease!!!" Although, how can you not love Janene and Steve Zahn (who should be in every movie- I dig him) Janene Garafalo at the GAP!!! Yay! Anyways, Stealing Beauty also had Joseph Finnes in a minor role. Such a randy movie! Randy randy randy! Every man is a potential lecher...they all hover around Liv Tyler. The soundtrack is wonderful and the scenery is gorgeous but the movie was ultrarandy and kind of goofy. The whole Italian party was surreal-weird and odd-yet very funny, too. And the sex scene at the end made me and Caitlin avert our eyes. Shakespeare In Love has wonderful loves scenes, classy and lovely and oh, I ADORED that movie. Joseph Finnes is so cute! Gwyneth is adorable! That sort of movie must be taken home and loved. hoping i make some sense... ~Elisabeth in an "Ive gotten six hours of sleep-there are two wiemariners at my house and they plan to take my Doc Martens!" mood. i got the imperial teen cd for 1.00. If I worked at a cool store, Id play iot repeatedly. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. My favorite Christmas present: my boyfriend gave me the sheet-music book for WAEA; now I have to practice so I can play just like Ben (ha! quelle joke!) Happy new year to everyone! Shall we start coutning how many times we hear 1999 by Prince this year now? I just made a poster with exam review stuff on it. Anyways, the weirdest things keep happening to me!! First it was just really weird dreams and hearing about weird things (free style walking, playing cards as weapons). Well, last night I went to sleep at around 3. I woke up this morning at 7:30 from another weird dream and for some weird reason I thought it was 7:30 pm and I jumped out of bed and thought that i had slept the entire day which really scared me for a second because I had to get things ready for exams and go to the Gator Bowl with my dad. Well I went into my bathroom, washed my face and then looked at my clock in there which read 7:30.... AM. I think I just stood there for a few minutes trying to understand what just happened then I laughed at myself and went back to sleep. Just thougt I'd share my spooky morning with you guys. love ya---> jez BTW, wouldnt a Fear Of Pop songbook be great!!!!??? hehehe ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V3 #1 *******************************
