Subject: rememberence day pontification yes, it's time for some good old pontification. this is a rememberence day thing, today (or yesterday) was sad for me, as it was rememberence day, and my school didn't even have a assembly, it just had a (very short) minute's silence. this is not good enough. what is happening? i really don't understand it. i feel strongly about this, and it's really put a downer on the wonderful mood that i am in. i truly believe that we should have enough respect for the people who have fought and died in the wars to have some sort of official rememberance ceremony. sigh. now for 60 seconds of silence when you read this people. for my grandfather. Lest We Forget. now for energy transfers to Mr Cohen... :) i love my life.i quite like Fopulent. and i did try to access your site through numeric IPs and was quite upset when i didn't get it. so :P Katieeeeeeeeeee! you're alive!! :) as to your poll, i am the goddamn superfriend. what the hell you talking 'bout? here is a topic for conversation that i found from the archives, and that is: what names do you like for children. i had a long think about it, and decided to call my girl Aurora, and my boys Saul and Xerses. Aurora Wightman. i like that. it's friday the 13th tommorow! Mad props to all students doing their finals. i'm finished... giggle. oh yeah i have a really interesting story to tell you about exams. well, not that interesting, but i found it fun. walk into the exam room just before the exam, and run through it screaming "i know all the answers!!!" i swear, i was a REALLY popular guy after doing that last year. spence? you there man..? Brad Pitt didn't talk to anyone... who else was there...? um.. donny and marie osmond, brooke shields & Andre Agassi, alyson hannigan, debra messing, elizabeth perkins, cameron crowe, claire forlani, teri garr, chris o'donnell... and a whole bunch of other random people. i didn't go to "i Still Know," and i'm annoyed about it. apparently the whole cast of "That 70's Show" was there adn Topher DID go to school here and he knows a guy in Sarah and Erik's production class (whom we refer to as Puma). so that whole six degrees thing apparently holds true. and Michael Rosenbaum was there too! he was in "Urban Legend" and he was really cool at that premiere -- he's cute AND he's a big spazz. i like that combo. so that's what i missed out on. but i just have to say HOW annoyed i am that the "Enemy Of the State" premiere is being held in Washington D.C. next week. how lame is that? i'm mostly pissed because Sarah and I know Will Smith's bodyguard Jeff (who is like the NICEST person ever) and Erik knows Seth Green so it would be the totally perfect setting in which to take advantage of it and go schmooze at the after party. but noooooo. they had to put it in DC. whores. but then again this is the same studio that premiered Armageddon in Florida and when that failed miserably they had an L.A. premiere. so there's hope yet. anyway, i've run out of relevant things to say. not like the above was all that important. ~Courtney The Sultraness of Swing "I grow penicillin and monkeys." ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Nov 1998 09:15:43 EST From: Lennonita@aol.com Subject: Argh! Oh, where to start. I haven't posted in months 'n months. And no one noticed! *sob* Courtney, I know that Hitchcock guy Casper! Okay, I don't exactly know him, being in Las Vegas and all, but my dear friend James has him for a class and when he and his two friends were here last month they ranted about him quite a bit. So the first time I saw you mention him I felt so knowledgeable. Ahh. Went to Noo Yawk a week and a half ago. Auditioned for NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Kicked that auditioner's ass. It went really well and now I get to worry for five more weeks whether or not I made the right choice... Dan, this little piggy got a 1590. But I never took the ACT's. College counselor told me I never had to. {this has been Megan's Moment of Brag. Now back to her regularly scheduled Ramblepost.}<--sounds like a cereal. Ramblepost. "now with raisins!" Oh, Meg needs more sleep. Superfriend? I like Aquaman. Don't know why. Maybe it's because he's one of the few Superfriends I can think of right now in my 6:05 haziness... Meg luvs Topher Grace!!! That 70's Show is cool. Here's hoping it's on for seasons to come. Okay, since when did the Christmas season begin the day after Halloween?!!? When I was in New York all the wreaths and stuff were up at Radio City Music Hall. It was totally depressing. Bought Spilt Milk the other day. Reminds me of our fab five. Also bought Up. AAAAH! So good! If you liked OK Computer, this is right up your alley. But it's also kind of Smile-era-Beach-Boys-ish and still sounds like REM. Buy it buy it buy it! Up next on the "to purchase" list: New copy of BFF s/t (other one got smashed somehow...it was a sad, sad day) FoP New Beck CD something by the Lovin' Spoonful Truman Show soundtrack Vivaldi's Four Seasons Fiddler on the Roof soundtrack (We're doing the play) Anything you cats can recommend? It'd be greatly appreciated. Whatever I can't afford goes straight to the birthday wish list...Meg turns 18 three weeks from today! Soon I can buy cigarettes (I don't smoke) and porn (I don't...porn? Is "to porn" a valid verb? It is now) and vote (the elections were last week)!!! Yay! That's all. I have to speak out on this one. If I were a superfriend, I'd have to go with Cyborg. He kicked ass. Plus the fact that he turned into a planet in the comic. (Yeah, I still read comics, what about it? I'm a bigger geek than all of you put together and I love it! ;P ) Anyway, after I go find out if my paycheck from last Friday is finally in, I get to reserve my copy of FoP before anyone else. I love Ann Arbor. Plus, I'm going to see Garbage tonight, and leave a nice big puddle of drool at Shirley Manson's feet. It's funny, me, my ex, and my best friend (they're dating now, in one of those wierd twists of fate that I'm just incapable of getting mad over) have all decided to throw ourselves at her feet and see who she choses. With all my luck, it'll be my ex, and the image will be etched in my head until I die. Of course, I could think of worse tortures, but hey, this is Ann Arbor. Lesbians are a staple of life here. ;) Anyway, I gotta jet. Laters all! And remember, don't fall victim to the evils of quasiantisemiantidisestablitarianism. ;) ERIC ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Nov 1998 10:42:51 EST From: Emmaline20@aol.com Subject: Re: The Rockford Files V1 #303 >>When did the Olsen twins become whores?<< They're back on tv?! They've now got another shitty TGIF series, "Two Of a Kind", along with a straight-to-video movie called "Billboard Dad" which caused a stampede at the Mall of America when they were there to autograph copies Tuesday. Dozens were killed and hundreds maimed by cheap Spice-Girls-imprinted platform shoes on the feet of so many young girls. Sadly, the stars themselves were not injured. Oh yes...they're 12, they have shitty Jennifer Aniston haircuts that make them look much older, and they have boobs. Yes, Mary Kate and Ashley feckin' Olsen have boobs. I think America is finally realizing that they'll never act apart from each other, but...I thought their careers were over?
