Campbell Scott, Lilly Taylor, Stanley Tucci (who wrote and directed it), Oliver Platt, steve Buscemi and isabella Rosselini star, adn oh man.. pardon me for using the phrase "giddy romp," but it's teh Critical Studies major in me. and there's a GREAT cameo in the beginning by someone very unexpected. and the soundtrack is SO my next purchase. loved it. lots of great tangoes and latin flavored stuff. oh, and Gillian Anderson sat two rows in front of us. that was kind of cool. i was REALLY sorry my freind who is totally obsessed with her wasn't there though. instead of coming out with us tonight, he had to drive home to san diego for his birthday. we're contemplating just not telling him we saw her. if we do, his head may explode. so everyone, GO NOW and see The Impostors. and you should also go to the video store and rent Big Night, Stanley Tucci's last film. very cool. it's about an italian restaurant that's getting ready for Louis Prima to come.. i loved that, of course. well anyway, now i am off to dream land. ~Courtney The Sultraness of Swing "But I've never killed anyone!" Subject: so that's where it's at. well, seeing that it's the weekend, the day before i go back to school, it's time for the wrap up, i truly believe. you see, it's my belief that you american types only manage to stumble into your email whilst whistling away your hours at work. so you see, i can write stuff now and you guys won't have to deal with it until you get to work. and hey, the idea is to make you laugh. i could be proved wrong, however, with a flurry of posts from the other side of the pacific. i doubt it. so, after the lengthy introduction, let's get into the holidays that have been, in a word, interesting. yes. holidays are, IMO, designed specificaly to weird me out. just when i have a handle on the world, and everything is hunky dory, some being decides "hey, looks like he's having a good time, time for Holidays" now, i LIKE holidays, but sometimes they are weird. and they make my phone bill hurt like buggery. contact with friends becomes limited to quick phone conversations along the lines of "yup. yup. noon? yup. bye." and clandistine meetings of small groups of individuals and the obligitory party. now, you all know the party experence, so i won't recount, but all week i have been receiving needling calls from various people to ask "she who i like" out. so i did, and got a "not yet". so now i have had a talk to her, and we have worked it out. it's a loose relationship at the moment, and that is how it should be. i mean, we only started talking like 3 months ago, and before then it was me scaring her off with my sarcastic sense of humour. so at the moment, it is where it should be, and i'm feeling a lot better for it. everything is falling back into place as it should. like i thought, it's going to be a "getting to know you better" kinda thing for a while, as it should be. i prefer relationships that mature and grow, than ones that burn bright and short. so my love life is falling into place. good, eh? looks like everyone else's is too. so yay for us. so that was my holidays, and i must say i am looking forward to my senior year at high school. the workload is hard, but i have a smart girl to study with and i'm thinking that everything should be fine. hsc, here i come. looking for a 96 people, so i should be frantically posting this time next year screaming "im gonna fail!!!!!!" tina, you sound like you have a solid week of concerts to go to. have fun, and have 6 or 7 drinks for me ;) katie, you know i am ;) love ya! gotta go watch Roy And HG. Quick Bentent. Rob's bass blew the 12" cone outta my subwoofer. so who says BFF were punk rock for sissies? oh. Ben did? well......ok. i guess he might have some idea. but i think that they should be proud, because just before i went to BFF i listened to hello nasty and it didn't even hurt the speakers. Korn better watch out ;) wait for the quote. Jordan "Jordan is sexy" - attributed to Katie :) _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? I just got off the phone with a lady named Valerie Kellogg, who is the news editor for the Long Island Voice, a subsidiary of the Village Voice. She's doing a story on security among cable modem ISPs and I am basically the basis of the technical content of the article, apparently. All those of you down there keep a lookout for this article in the next couple of weeks. ~Dan ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Oct 1998 18:29:45 EDT From: jaedonely@juno.com Subject: observation How come every wb teenybopper show uses sarah mcglachan for emotional moments? and i just way mispelled mchlaugflin, but you know, every ones diva behind the lilith fair. anne-maybe you know, localite, have you ever read the free comedy newspaper the weekly week?
