Im sure y'all missed me sooooooooo much!!!! :) I was in Alaska. Damn it's beautiful up there. I did lots of hiking in the moutains and fun stuff like that. A great time was had by all..."all" being just me, but you know...boy I am just so discriptive tonight! Okay I'd like to clear up the whole thing about Belle and Sebastians Tigermilk that I started before I left. I didn't know it was so rare and I was mistaken. I didn't see the cd I saw the LP and it was at Mod Lang in Berkeley not at Ameobas (damn I can't spell). BUT feeling very gulity I did call around for it and I found the Tigermilk Cd and it's about $100!! Feel free to e-mail me if you're interested and I'll see if they still have it. Okay Im glad I cleared that all up I feel better. :) BENTENT!!!!!! In the new Rolling Stone, ya know the one that looks like an issue of Playboy, (what's with that anyways?), there's a short bit about a John Lennon tribute album that is being organized and one of the bands that might be on it is....hmmm three guesses... yes you know it, our boys!! Wouldn't that be great!? What song do you think they should cover? What song do you think they will cover? This excites me so much because I am a HUGE Beatles fan. But then who in their right mind isnt? :) Speaking of John Lennon, I bought Sean Lennon's album about a month or so ago. I really really like it!! I can't seem to get it out of my cd player. I just listen to it over and over, well that and Belle and Sebastians If you're feeling sinister. I love Spaceship and Into the sun. It's just really a cool album. << i went to see Lee Press On and the Nails >> I saw them I few months ago at the Fillmore in San Fran. Arent they good?! I talked with the lead singer and the guy who plays the key boards, they are so funny and the guy who plays keyboards is soooooo hot! But I must say I like old big band much better than the neo-big band stuff. I mean it's really cool and all but it can't compare to Ella or Glenn Miller, if you know what I mean. Well I'm getting ready to move to London. Only a month and a half left before I go. I am so excited! Do any of you British folk out there have any suggestions for me?? Especially music wise, you know like clubs and stuff? If you do please e-mail me. Hmmmm I think that's about it...can't think of anything else and I just read what I wrote and I really need to go back to school soon! My vocabulary is....not so good? hehe Someone please send Lauren a Thesaurus! - -Lauren " Some folk'll never eat a skunk but then some folk'll. Like Cletus the slack-jawed yokel."
