While coming out of the "theater" (aka a converted gym on my campus :P ) I learned via a flyer that Semisonic will be coming home to visit us for 3 nights in a row! :) FINALLY I'm reaping the real benefits of living in Minnesota. If any area fans want to go, you can get tickets online through ticketbastard. We also got to see an opening band called Los Amigos Invisibles -- a bunch of horny, sweaty Venezuelans in polyester, bunping and grinding to songs such as (and I'm translating from spanish here) the Anal Disco, I Want to Dissintegrate your Boyfriend and Doggystyle. hmmm. . .a zany bunch, to be sure. Oh, and as far as Bentent goes, CDNow finally sent me my Brick import CD. (the cheap version, not the huge 30 dollar rip off single) Unforutnately, my roommate watched hte and of Xena and then promptly turned off the lights and fell asleep, so I haven't heard it yet. dammit!
