At the end of the article it states :- "Garbage's single When I Grow Up (Mushroom Records) is released on Jan. 4 to coincide with their British tour. Best wishes Peter ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Nov 1998 14:58:32 +0000 From: Alan Subject: Garbage Stuff Hi All, Those UK fans who are online right now might just make the newstands in time for today's Daily Telegraph newspaper..... Shirley is on the front of the week-end mag and there's a great 5 page feature inside - all about the band on tour. I haven't had time to read it all yet but the paper confirms that the next UK single will be "When I Grow Up" and will be released on Jan 4th to coincide with the Tour. Just got back from the giant record/cd Fair at Birmingham NEC and I'm pleased to report that more bootlegs are beginning to appear on the UK market. This morning I managed to get The Reading Festival on cd and the quality is excellent! There are 10 tracks(listening to it right now!) and a few non-album songs have been thrown on to make 16 in all. I also saw 2 other cd's called Garbage Mixes and Spice Girl(urrgh!!).... not sure if those titles are right but they appear to be re-issues of 96 stuff.Anyway,I'll check that out at the Wembley fair next week. That's all for now...gotta finish off this cd...Shirley's Hammering in My Head!!(track 4) alan dukester2@geocities.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Nov 1998 23:46:17 -0500 From: "Michele Santiago" Subject: Re: heeeeeeeeeere it comes On 21 Nov 98, at 23:26, Alan wrote to trash-talk: > It's 3.25 AM in Downtowm Somewhere UK and something strange has > happened.I just received a mail from Trashtalk. > > No big deal,I hear you say....but guess what? Since trash-talk is an open list, your reply showed up on tt, even though you're not subbed, and people may or may not wonder what's going on ;> Shhhhhh!! If you had actually gotten the post that went through tt, it would have a huge tag at the end with unsub junk.
