(too bad i left after that and didnt' stay for the cardigans...haha..i've never done that one before last week) i think you might like her and i might be able to get my hands on some of her distribution materials b/c mel (she's my roommate who dropped from the list) is kinda distributing them. i think she still has some, so just let me know and i'll try to get one out to you...SHe kinda sounds like a wiser, more experienced jewel in the sense that she talks about love and how many times they broke up. one song is about the end of the summmer in toronto i think. another on acid. it's really cute, she's a great female vocalist and all... 3. anyone want to pull my wisdom teeth for me? i am too poor to get the pulled and they are killing me! :) 4. i was just kidding btw...only person who has ever pulled my teeth was my 2nd grade teacher. that's prob illegal now or something...geez, i hate being old. anyways, i'm done rambling. actually, it's almost 5am here and i can't sleep. hope you you don't mind. drop me an email if you have ? or you're interesting in one of emm's tapes. .g'night. ...sallie... ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Nov 1998 06:31:38 +0000 From: husselman@enter.net Subject: Re: launch Hey Sallie and everyone else., I survived NYC. Got to meet and talk to Steve, his wife Cindy and Dan. Shirl just blew in and bolted out. Didn't stop for anyone. That was a disapointment. It left a lot of young girls crying. Show was great - they did a lot of material including Supernatural which they did in NYC last time. I met up with Trancer and Elena (Hairspray Queen) and her boyfriend Justin and we had fun hanging out together. I put up a few pics on my Candid page. I still have to get a roll of regular film developed. No concert shots though. The place was packed. Being right up front against the rail, I got a bit crushed at times. Most of the bruises are gone by now! No moshing and just a moderate amount of crowd surfing going on. The sound system was great and the show went well. Shirley thanked the crowd several times during the show. Dan Shulman did confirm that he was not married. The Girls Against Boys was a real good opener for Garbage. They really rocked and seemed like decent guys. A couple of pics are up at: http://www.enter.net/~husselman/candid.html If anyone has stuff for my Garbage Classified Page let me know and I'll put it up for you. http://www.enter.net/~husselman/gclass.html Thats all for now! ---Sam--- - -------The Garbage Pail------- http://www.enter.net/~husselman/garbage.html ------------------------------ End of recycled-bin-digest V2 #124 **********************************
