It comes in the teardrop type sleeve (ie rounded opposing corners) and is solid orange colour with 'garbage' embossed on it. The reverse side says 'PROMO CD / CD-ROM' on it and in smaller type says 'this is an interactive promotional item'. The track listing is the same as for the release album. No liner booklet comes with it, however a small insert comes inside which shows the garbage mesh (a la www.garbage.com) and where the letters link to (press release, bio, photos, artwork, internet link, screensaver, exit) with system reqs on the other side: pcs should be a minimum of a Pentium 166 - it runs on a Power Mac too. It works fine on my PC, but then it should do as it's a PII-333. Content is not that exciting, featuring a 4 page press release, 9 page bio (as on www.garbage.com), 3 photos of the band (the b/w tour shot, the shirley sundress one from hot press cover and a recent shot used in the nme), 3 shots of the album artwork (version 2.0 cover, push it cover, band shot with shirley and butch screaming), a link that kicks your web-browser over to www.garbage.com and a screensaver that features the garbage ball bouncing around the screen. Best bits? The start and end 'version 2.0 is (un)loading' sequences and the very odd mix of 'push it' with Shirl's vocals mixed down and lots of odd efx/loops mixed up (an aiff file I hope to put up on Cafe Momo some time soon). If you find a copy cheap I'd recommend picking up one, but only if you are really a mad collector. The CD isn't big, only taking up 55MB of multimedia data.
