Actually, what I was getting at was your own personal remix, like we get as b-sides in abundance... Anyway, The new album is going to be called Version 2.0 (alomost 100% sure. Much better than Sad Alcoholic Clowns). There is going to be 12 tracks, and there has been mention of making it CDEnhanced. That's it from me again... \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ |Tony Dawe "Is Pain So Great When One Believes In | |gbf2033@infonet.st-johns.nf.ca Nothing?" -Download | /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Mar 1998 11:37:55 +0000 From: "Dan" Subject: Re: Nothing Posted for a while... Hey ppl, Just to fill you in on what I know. The new lp will be called "Version 2.0" (after they discarded "Sad Alcoholic Clowns", which I thought was really cool). The first single will be "Push It", released in the UK in April. The song will be featured on "The New Avengers" soundtrack. The b-sides will be another new song "Lick the Pavement" and a cover of Big Star's "Thirteen" (a very un-garbage song). Push It was going to feature a sample from the Beach Boys "Don't Worry Baby", but in a change of plans Shirley just sings the line now. Brian Wilson said he liked it. "Version 2.0" should be released in the UK in May. Or so I've heard.... I've put a few more details down at http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/1597/garbage.html Does anyone know if they're going to continue with the limited 7" singles now they're banned by the chart people? . > > 2. Has anyone made their own Garbage mix?? If so, how did it turn out? No, I haven't. I'm thinking of recording the guitar parts from a few Garbage songs onto a multi-track so I can have a play with them, probably Supervixen, OHWIR, Vow and Dog New Tricks. Anybody any ideas what effects would best reproduce some of the sounds? Cheers, Dan.
