The advert contained a picture of the cover, which on the cover promptly read something about an article on Garbage...judging by old issues of Vox I have, there should be a full length article about Garbage, instead of a snippet about some concert or something...If Vox puts the band name or something on the cover, there's a good chance of a full length article... Garbage's LP has dropped to #18 on the UK Indie Charts...this is the third week its been on the top 30... In other news, I don't know how true this is, but I have heard that Shirley's birthday is on August 3rd...I only got this info from someone I met on a Garbage chat room, so don't flame me when the date turns out to be wrong As for the SPIN article...not much special stuff...the interview was right after the Grammy awards...stuff mentioned about their past, such as Clive Davis wanting Spooner to do an EP with a Def Leppard producer...SPIN also labels them as "the definitve band of alternative's second wave"...also mentioned as a bridge between rock & electronica...nice photo of Butch & Duke in Spooner from 1980...Butch looks so weird, but Duke looks somewhat the same...Steve is actually born in the New York City area(never knew that)...Shirley is from Stockbridge in Edinburgh(I was always hoping she'd be from Leith ever since reading Trainspotting...hehe)...well, thats all the news, I'd be happy to type up the article for anyone who wants it...have a good one...
