I thought everyone had died for a while. I don't have the soundtrack but I've heard pretty much all of it. Most of the good songs (cardigans, wannadies) can be found elsewhere, though "Talk Show Host" by Radiohead (used twice) was a b-side to their old "Street Spirit" single so could be more difficult to track down. The other Radiohead track used, "Exit Music", featured over the closing credits of the film, is on their new album (out soonish). Sorry I've not much to say about Garbage, except that I wouldn't buy the soundtrack just for a remix of #1 Crush. I'll agree with Carrie Miller being on the list, seems like a good idea to me. Cheers, Dan. **************** Job's a good 'un *************** Home: http://www.shef.ac.uk/students/me/mea95dad Music: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/1597 ************************************************* ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 06 May 1997 14:41:32 PDT From: "sallie young" Subject: R&J Hi everyone, i know that this is a wee bit late in coming but i wanted to put my two cents in on this discussion. I really like the soundtrack and the remix of my *favorite* song (might i add) of number 1 crush. It is one of their greatest songs and the best remix in my point of view. It's worth buying in my opinion cause i like the other bands on it. ok, that's all for now. i thought we (the list) died too but i didn't have anything pertinent to write soo...i guess i am part of the cause. keep trashin' sallie ps. kevin, thanks for my address change. i'll try that irc chat thing soon. bye! - --------------------------------------------------------- Get Your *Web-Based* Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com - --------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of recycled-bin-digest V1 #26 *********************************
