Yeah, I did a double take on that too. My guess was that it's something that she receives rather than something that she writes or contributes to, otherwise we certainly would have seen something about it! "Showcasing work?" That sounds like it's written by someone who's not entirely Net savvy. I would think the zine in question is her website's pervasive presence (if you're on her mailing list), as LBW isn't done by her. I also think the 'showcasing her work' bit is along the same lines, with the wide and creative web front that Tori pushes. But nothing about that is particularly relegated only to the unsigned. Musicians who have half a brain are making the most of virtually free promotion by finding creative ways (such as the horrific but free MySpace) to use the Internet, as Tori has done. Hence, I think this is written by someone who doesn't understand Internet promotion, and who needs come grammar lessons =) Be well, Richard! "Showcasing work?" Hi, Thanks to all for the public and private responses to this message. I guess we'll have to go with "editors run amok" as the explanation for these paired assertions. They put their entire magazine online for free downloading and they're in the business of communication, so you'd think the editors there would have more than passing familiarity with the Internet. Wackiness. At least there isn't some major ongoing Tori publication that I never heard of to make me feel even *more* stupid. Thanks again.
