Yeah, I think that's what it is, too. So at first glance, the picture turned me off. The long super-straight red hair is just not a good look, and the dress is worse. But looking more closely at it, I'm warming up. Notice that her left shoe is broken and that there is blood trickling down that leg (and blood on the pavement below her?). /nm - -- Nadyne Mielke nadyne@little-blue-world.org Little Blue World http://www.little-blue-world.org/ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2007 12:05:17 -0500 From: wojbearpig Subject: [pt] billboard article nothing new, but at least they have a fuller shot of the photograph, albiet somewhat smaller. at least it doesn't have the watermark that perezhilton.com has splashed across their copy of the photograph. I had an interesting thought while looking at the new picture of Tori--what with "SHaME" written on her left hand, the Bible in her right hand, the blood trickling down her left leg, the left shoe being broken, the blood on the pavement, standing in front of a nice suburban house, the sequined red dress.. (so shiiiiiny... @_@) the line "yes I wore a slinky red thing" from Me and a Gun jumped to my mind when I looked closer at her dress. do any of you think that perhaps one layer of that picture's symbolism may have to do with her rape experience? perhaps she's finally at a place where she can say she's healed--or has mostly healed--from the experience? what do you guys think? - -- Cyndi S.
