The song that Ana was referring to, you mean (the one where she said Tori got the chords wrong)? "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." And yes ... she does. It bugs the heck out of me every time, myself. Interesting. I wonder why I never saw that. A serious long-time collector of articles thanked me for posting that link to it on your site, because she'd never seen it before, either. I have a vague memory of not having access to it when you conducted that interview, it wasn't in my personal collection of articles, seemingly, it was never posted to RDT, ToriNews, or here, and Michael had only a link to it from The Dent, and when going there, one is asked for a password to login. Googling retrieved the only available copy as being that link from your site that I posted. Whatever the reason it was hidden before, I'm grateful for your having pointed me to it. Good deal. Let a thousand flowers bloom. If anyone else knows of or even conducted a major interview not up on the major sites that collect them--and at this point I have to consider to be the canonical one--please do let us know about it. Thanks. The song Tori played in memory of Ana was Elton John and Bernie Taupin's song Daniel. All of this is a really long story, but let me just say that Andrea had that story about Ana regarding Over the Rainbow as she described in that CNN article and asked for that, but Tori wasn't feeling it, and thought Daniel was more appropriate, and it turned out she was correct. She ended up playing it in memory of Ana at three concerts over nine days, the last time at SUNY Binghamton where Ana's mother had been a professor and her father still was, the day after a memorial service had been given for them on the same campus as the concert. One look at the lyrics and it's easy to see how this was the more emotionally on-target as compared with Over the Rainbow. Proving once again that context *is* everything, as Daniel had been written as an anti-war song in the Viet Nam war era.
