Firstly, when has a greatest hits/box set/thing EVER been what EVERY fan/listener wants? It's impossible. Secondly, what about the fans (such as myself) that love the remixes, and wish to collect as many official ones as possible? Thirdly, the press release said The Collection Reveals Amos Classics, Rarities, B-Sides and Unreleased Tracks for a Five-Disc, Career-Spanning Box Set which is exactly what it does from my point of view. It has all those things and in good measure for such a collection. Forthly, in my opinion, Tori is a story teller, and she wouldn't have picked these tracks if they didn't tell a story. I look at this as a musical answer to 'Piece By Piece' and with the linear notes I am very excited to see the narritive that these selected pieces put together. And lastly, where is it written that you have to buy it? If you like the look of it (which I very much do) then buy it, if you don't, spend your money on something else. If you're a collecter (like I am) then you will be happy to spend any amount of your small income (like mine) on an official release especially if it's a new one that you can get in mint condition. Otherwise you might pick it up a bit cheaper in a few years on e-bay or in a second hand shop. All in all, my opinion is that Tori could release ANYTHING and would still upset some of her fans. So if you want the new stuff enough you should bite you tongue and buy it because nothing's going to change from you complaining anyway. I'm sorry, but I thought it was time something good was said about it and my ony gripe is that I live in australia and won't get it as soon as all you in the States and the UK.
