It's great fun, and includes two excellent performances: Sweet the Sting and Sleeps with Butterflies. This was done the day after the wonderful Leno appearance, and someone must have really put something in her lemon tart. The DJ was almost in shock from her performance when Sting ended, and he exclaimed, "HOLY *SMOKES*! I put that much emotion into anything I pass out!" It was worthy of that reaction, too. She was talking casually with him, and just slid into playing the song as if she were talking with an old friend. It totally draws you in, takes you through a lot of places before it's done, and is as rich as a thick drinking chocolate. A lot of areas are covered in the interview segments, including Elaine Pagels' book The Gnostic Gospels, a rat backstage in Boston, and the ever-popular topic of dealing with drool. If anyone managed to get a swell high-class recording of this off the radio, would you be kind and contact me, please? Thank you. Enjoy. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V10 #99 *************************************
