Personally I have never experienced a follow up album by any other artist that was as close to the greatness of the debut (LE). I used to listen to Yes Anastasia literally for hours on my headset in 1994.....and has Tori ever equalled the piano work done on songs like Cornflake Girl? My order would probably have to be as follows : Little Earthquakes Boys for Pele Under the Pink Scarlet's Walk To Venus and Back Strange Little Girls After writing that order down, it's still hard to put them down in an order....would like to have put BFP, UTP and Choirgirl at a joint second. We'll see where the Beekeeper fits into all of this. Your opinion is just that, YOURS! So, I hope you don't feel that we were trying to push our Pele obsession onto you. We, too, we're expressing our opinions. And, personally, I thought they were all really great. I have enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and ideas. Keep 'em coming!! I agree. I don't generally place much stock in astrology, but once I saw how many connections there were, I decided to check on my own sign. I'm a Scorpio, which is apparently water, and my favorite album is indeed Choirgirl. Something I place a little more stock in is the LaVey Personality Synthesizer, which is surprisingly accurate for almost everyone I know who's tried it. On it, I'm about 5:00, which is in the "water" section of the clock. (In case you're wondering, there's a pretty clear and concise explanation of the LPS here: http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/ukraine/1206/id30.htm, and a very lengthy full description in LaVey's book, _The Satanic Witch_.) (You know, like, there are several recordings of Famous Blue Raincoat, but I like one more than the others.) This is still my goal, my dream. Wouldn't that be the greatest thing to have? Or has someone already done this?" As a matter of fact, yes I have! In 1998 I made my own compilation CD titled, "The Bee Sides" and then in 2000 I made "More Bee Sides". I made my own cover art...they look pretty studio-ish. Tony What's more likely? That an all-powerful mysterious god created the universe and then decided not to give any proof of his existence? Or, that he simply doesn't exist at all? And that we created him so that we wouldn't have to feel so small and alone. -Eleanor Arroway, Contact ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 05 Feb 2005 09:22:34 -0600 From: "Lauren H" Subject: RE: Fave Tori Album/Zodiac Theory true 4 me as well. im an aries and BfP is my favorite of the 4 (2nd fav is scarlet's walk, great road trip music.) BfP is also the 1st album i listened to. i think part of the reason some aren't as taken with it is it's not as easily accessible as LE and UtP, but then i'm the kind of grl that enjoys complexity so i like that aspect, its more challenging lyrically and musically. toodles CR ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Feb 2005 02:15:05 +0000 From: "Pete Lambert" Subject: Re: Ani DiFranco Kelly said: >ani is awesome.
