There's another link, which Tori "hides" in almost everything.  I put 
"hides" in quotes because to someone not in the know about this subject, 
s/he probably wouldn't notice the link at all.

Tori is a witch.  There are three life stages of witch-hood:  maiden, 
mother, and crone.  Tori has gone through the maiden stage and is now a 
mother approaching the crone stage.

I suspect that the idea of being "three" ties in with this as well.
