This is last year's Archives disc, and it features an exclusive (and exquisite) live version of "Taxi Ride". Here is the complete track listing: John Hiatt Drive South Coldplay Clocks The Jayhawks Save It For A Rainy Day Jason Mraz You And I Both Tori Amos Taxi Ride Ben Harper Brown Eyed Blues The Ben Taylor Band - Island Jackson Browne The Night Inside Me O.A.R. Hey Girl Robben Ford Up The Line Matchbox Twenty Disease Steve Winwood Why Can't We Live Together Nickel Creek Smoothie Song The Waifs Fisherman's Daughter The Wallflowers How Good It Can Get Joe Jackson One More Time You can purchase the CD for US$16.99 + shipping at the following site: http://www.cafepress.com/kfog.13938254 This is a great release (I reviewed it in a previous issue of "Little Blue World", ). The Tori track isn't available anywhere else. The rest of the album is a good strong one, mostly because KFOG gets lots of artists to do exclusive concerts for them when the artist is passing through San Francisco. For collectors, the value of these KFOG discs usually increases; the first few volumes of this disc are currently worth US$75 and up, and the first three often fetch more than $200! The track listing for "Live from the Archives, v11" should be announced within the next few weeks. When it is announced, you'll be able to find it on the KFOG website . It's unlikely that there will be a Tori track on v11 since she didn't tour this year, but the disc will probably be a good one anyway. We've certainly had some great concerts in SF this year, so KFOG should have a lot to choose from. (Here's hoping for an R.E.M. track from their fantastic show last weekend!) /nm ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V9 #104 *************************************
