I guess I forgot the fact that even though Neil's didn't have assigned seating, this isn't quite the same. I just opened it now and I got Orch row C, seat 105 (nearly center). Perhaps after I announced it on the list, the tickets went really fast? Try calling them and see if they'll give you other seats. The balcony might be better than row T, and good seats might be available there still. - -Lisa - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Sunday, August 15, 2004 10:13 AM Subject: Re: precious-things-digest V9 #85 > > Hi everyone, > > I ordered tickets on line for The Tori concert/interview in NYC on Feb 23, > and I'm wondering if anyone else purchased their tickets on line also? Hi there, I got mine via phone and I also had no choice of seating, so it just must be the way they do things. Of course, it never occurred to me to ask for anything other than the seats I was given, so maybe I could've had a choice. I wonder if this venue has a lot of subscribers and such who get preferred seating. I have no idea how to upgrade the seating and when I tried to get another ticket for a friend, I was told the show was sold out. Good luck to you! Tom M. My friend Jenn and I played around with it some (using different computers and browsers) back on the 8th, and found that basically the system gave you a random set of seats somewhere in the hall. We got some offered that were back around S and T, some that were on the sides, and then one pair (the one we bought) which were row B. Apparently they think that's a fairer way to do it. How did you know what your seats were before actually buying it? I only found out once the ticket came.
