Indian Summer nifty! nice to see that the scarlet's web songs will finally see a proper release -- along with three new songs as well. i'm a little surprised that "mountain" isn't on there. that "bug a martini" song title sounds familiar but i don't recall where it popped up before or if it even did -- you can never be too sure that i'm not manufacturing memories again. ;) the live dvd should be nice too but i have to say that i'm looking forward to the cd rather more. i wonder which song will be served to radio. woj ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Mar 2004 13:12:19 -0800 (PST) From: "Nadyne Mielke" Subject: Re: Welcome to Sunny Florida fingerpuppets said: [snip] > i wonder which song will be served to radio. "Tombigbee" seems like a natural for that choice. It's on the CD and the DVD, after all, so it makes for a good tie-in to the whole thing. And she played it pretty often on the last tour (certainly moreso than the other SW bee-sides). If she were to make a commercial CD single, an obvious choice for it would be the album version and the live version from the DVD (not the video, just the audio). I'd hope to see 'Mountain' included on a commercial CD single. A slightly less obvious choice would be to make it a DVD single, like the ASF DVD single, including the footage of "Tombigbee" from the DVD and maybe something else. 'Something else' could be an interview of some sort, or maybe footage from the soundcheck. /nm ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Mar 2004 02:29:36 +0000 From: "Tom xxxxx" Subject: RE: welcome to sunny florida Wow. This is highly cool. However, where is "Mountain?" Why include all the Scarlet bsides except that one? It irritates me. Cheers, Tom M.
