The house remains unfinished and vacant. did they do this before the house was demolished or what? i've heard that different rock stars apart from these two have recorded music at that house. I guess it would make more sense for a father or grandfather. Or Mother for a mother type figure. But for your situation I think 1000 Oceans would be better. I was also thinking of Sister Janet, then I remembered the "slipping the blade in easy" line and that wouldn't be appropriate at all. But, I would do 1000 Oceans esp. if it's just the recording of her singing that you were thinking of, in this particular situation. The whole Choirgirl album is also based on Death Lurking but I can't think of any approprite from there... Just because of the line "this is cooling, faster than I can" Not sure how appropriate the rest of lyrics are for your situation... I mean, it's more of a love song than death...but you could play it for those who are still with you and who are mourning the loss of this loved one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You're gonna dance to jah music, dance, We're gonna dance to jah music, dance, Forget your troubles and dance, Forget your sorrows and dance, Forget your sickness and dance, Forget your weakness and dance. . ." -- Bob Marley ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Jan 2004 22:42:46 +0000 From: "Johnny Endicott" Subject: RE: tori songs for a funeral Hi. Sorry to hear of this sad inquiry. Since the song will be heard by the people who remain, you might want to consider Time (the cover from slg). Winter is also an obvious choice. Just my 2c worth. I told my soon to be husband that if anything happens to me and he is still around he had better make sure that it is played. When my friend committed suicide a few years back Tori's cover of Angie was played because her name was Angie and Sarah McLachlan's Angel. wendi >From: "Sarah =^..^=" >To: ToridRoses@aol.com, JNe9027355@aol.com, precious-things@smoe.org >Subject: Re: tori songs for a funeral >Date: Tue, 13 Jan 2004 14:09:43 -0500 > > >I also think a good song is Cooling.
