Lots of menthol, camphor and cloves. It more or less numbs you a little and soothes pain. It's really good stuff for the most part. It'll either smell like cinnamon or mint, depending on which kind you get, but either way it'll soothe what ails you. And for any sort of jaw problems, this isn't a bad way to deal with stuff. It'll also work on any general muscle aches and stuff. It's not surprising to hear that Tori uses the stuff, cause it works. I've had re-occuring jaw problems (something tells me all those symptoms feel familiar to me, and orthodontists once threatened that breaking my jaw and re-attaching it would be the only real solution...) that give me headaches and such, and it's really quality stuff for easing the pressure your jaw is causing. I'd have to imagine that with Tori's sort of work, she gets a bit more action out of her jaw than most people... and it's really painful if your jaw pops or locks up in any way and it's not like she can just go stopping the show cause her face hurts. Also, a Chinese grocery store will probably have it, and for a lot less than Whole Foods. There's a fair amount of information for it available at: http://www.tigerbalm.co.uk/ /nm ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2003 21:14:23 EST From: JNe9027355@aol.com Subject: Re: precious-things-digest V8 #284 In a message dated 12/13/2003 10:22:55 PM Pacific Standard Time, owner-precious-things-digest@smoe.org writes: > > and speaking of that.. when she was the cover issue of Rolling Stone, she > talked to the interviewer about her defect and mentioned something about ice > packs after performances and "tiger-balming" before performances...... > i am very sensitive to tempatures and wouldnt even dare put ice on my body when im having those pains -it causes me to tense up even more "Let the world know what you think, before the world lets you know what to think."
