Thankfully, it's not yet another rendition of "A Sorta Fairytale". (Don't get me wrong, I like ASF, but it's the song that seems to have been chosen for all of the compilations this year.) All songs were recorded exclusively for KFOG, and are unavailable anywhere else. It goes on sale on Saturday, 15 November. If you're in the Bay, you can get it at local Good Guys locations. If you're not in the Bay, you can buy it online at walmart.com. Here's the complete track listing: 1. Drive South - John Hiatt 2. Clocks - Coldplay 3. Save It For A Rainy Day - The Jayhawks 4. You And I Both - Jason Mraz 5. Taxi Ride - Tori Amos 6. Brown Eyed Blues - Ben Harper 7. Island - The Ben Taylor Band 8. The Night Inside Me - Jackson Browne 9. Hey Girl - O.A.R. 10. Up The Line - Robben Ford 11. Disease - Matchbox Twenty 12. Why Can't We Live Together - Steve Winwood 13. Smoothie Song - Nickel Creek 14. Fisherman's Daughter - The Waifs 15. How Good It Can Get - The Wallflowers 16. One More Time - Joe Jackson If you are interested a copy of this, I highly recommend stopping at a Good Guys location or ordering online as soon as it goes on sale. Quantities of these CDs are limited, and usually sell out within a week. Previous KFOG compilations are quite rare. Volumes 1 through 5 usually fetch at least US$100 on eBay, and I've seen the first two go for above US$300. Enjoy! :) /nm ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 19:33:29 -0500 From: fingerpuppets Subject: Re: itunes answering my own question.... the tori newsring thingie now says those two tracks will be available on november 18th. it still says that the songs will be from the dvd, so maybe they will be live performances? i can't imagine they would put angels and snow cherries on itunes since why would anyone buy tales if the new songs are downloadable for $2?
