It's beautiful and easily comprehensible outside of the context of the CD. "Another Girl's Paradise" would've been a good pick, too. While I love "Pancake" and "Scarlet's Walk" I think those songs are a little too odd for mainstream radio. Speaking of radio play, my public radio station, WBJB, plays a lot of Tori. When Scarlet came out, they played ASF frequently but played nothing else off the CD. I thought that was unusual, so I contacted them about it. They said that Epic never sent them a copy of the CD, despite a few requests. Previously, they had been able to get copies of all of Tori's other CDs. The station plays nonsingles quite a bit (I've heard "Playboy Mommy" and "Girl" on this station). That seemed really odd to me. I would've thought Epic would be up on getting Tori's music out to radio stations. Is there a place where one can get all the Scarlet bsides? To me, that was the big disaster of Scarlet's Walk: the bsides were hard to come by because no singles were released.
