MOST people wouldn't be able to interpret it even if someone did make it public. but those who can have insight into that person that is likely very private, if not shadow, that the person proper would never make public. that kind of work demands respect, as well as expedience of being able to make a chart in less than 5 minutes. ~kelley www.soulintentarts.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Sep 2003 20:31:05 -0400 From: ein kleines kinnemuzak Subject: tori on the world cafe just a reminder to all and sundry that the interview and live performance that tori taped for the world cafe during the swing by philadelphia on the lottapianos tour will be broadcast this friday, spetember 26th. the world cafe is a public radio international radio program that is carried by many public radio stations across the united states (and one in japan!) . for those not in one of those station's broadcast range, you can listen online to wxpn, the home station for the program on friday at 2pm eastern daylight time. woj ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Sep 2003 00:35:00 +0000 From: "Giovanni Mantilla" Subject: Re: Tales David Mobley wrote >Allegedly, the live tracks are from the soundcheck at West Palm Beach. > >Which IMO makes them utterly un-special. I wonder why that is. Is there a good reason to be so negative about it? Geez. I for one feel very excited that we are at least getting something more than just the Greatest Hits CD. The two songs were a good addition, as well as the re-recorded "Mary" & "Sweet Dreams". I actually think Atlantic is doing well for giving something extra to go with this GH project, not just throwing some useless compilation of previously-and-widely available material at us. 20 songs ALSO seems kinda generous. They might not be doing it for generosity purposes, I'll give you that... but the CD/DVD package, plus the nice cover picture we have seen, is already a good sign. Anyhoo... I don't see why some people are already acting so negatively towards this, just one day after learning about it. What's so wrong about the West Palm Beach soundcheck? You're going to have to fill me in. After all, it's not like *I* have been to a Tori concert to go around complaining about live performances and such. Heh.
