Alanis Morissette is coming to Colombia on Saturday and will be giving her only concert EVER here. As soon as I heard the news my heart jumped and I knew I had to go. I couldn't miss it. Well, I did my research immediately and found out exactly when the tickets would begin to be sold and on the very same day I went and bought mine for the best "seat" (I paid around $55). Well, they told me that since the tickets hadn't yet been printed, I had to go a couple of weeks later and claim it with a receipt they would give me. Last saturday I went to pick it up. As fate I would have it, I went and bought some other stuff, or rather went with a friend of mine who had to buy some things. On our way out of this mall (located in a decent area of the city)... we got mugged. With knives and all. They took our cellphones and... yes, they also stole my ticket. Now I'm in despair. I contacted the company I bought my ticket from and they say they can't do anything to help... even when I can prove to them that I did buy the ticket, that it was in fact stolen and can also provide them of number it had printed on it, as I can very clearly remember it. I've been pretty much struggling with them, trying to get my ticket replaced. But they say they can't do anything... they can't control the people as they come into the stadium... and well, they just won't help me. I'm feeling very miserable right now. I just wanted to let it out. Has this ever happened to anyone of you? Or I am just the most unlucky person ever? Heh. Take care you guys, write back if you feel like it.
