[ToriVolta@aol.com] Tori Mention on Eonline ["erinita@excite.com" ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 1 Aug 2003 00:12:31 EDT From: ToriVolta@aol.com Subject: Pass the Whine, Please! I've quietly and patiently read the new spurt of complaints about the LottaPianos Tour and how it didn't change much from the Third Leg of the Scarlet's Walk Tour. I absolutely agree that maybe it would have been nice for the layout of the concerts to be freshened up and originalized even more than Tori already does. BUT, I living in Texas and a college student, will not be able to attend this tour which is extremely disheartening 'cause she' s leaving all of us for a while, and I was only able to see one show on the Third Leg in Austin. I've seen Tori a total of two times, and each time I appreciate her effort and charisma and talent and beauty and life. As do all of us. All I ask is for you, who complained, to be grateful that you get to see Tori before her departure. Some of us can't (I feel your pain Italian girl), and I am dark green with envy. All I have to look forward to is reading the set lists and reviews (so write good ones) while as a lot of you get to live those set lists. I'm not trying to preach or whine myself, but merely explain my side and what it's like for the Tori deprived. Have fun and be safe. Today's Eonline News in Brief section mentions Tori is helping to judge the 2003 Shortlist Music Prize...HONORING THEIR PEERS: Dave Matthews, Mos Def, Tom Waits, Tori Amos, Perry Farrell and the Neptunes among the judges deciding the 2003 Shortlist Music Prize, which singles out the year's most creative and adventurous albums.
