HOWEVER.. that said.. I voted for the winning video. I absolutely loved it! yes, it was a standard "no Tori but everybody else.. in the back of a taxi." video that you'd see from probably anybody else.. but.. it's definitely a great video in itself. kinda like that "Taxi Diaries" show or whatever it's called; a glimpse into other peoples' lives. Everybody: I'm trying to pursue a little "just-cuz-I-want-to" project of making a documentary on Tori.. I've got an editing machine and the capabilities, and I just bloody wanna do it. Now.. being that I only just became a Toriphile as of February 2002, I'm rather short on footage. I'm not talking bootlegged concert footage, I'm talking TV appearances, interviews, performances, copies of her videos since '98.. that kinda stuff. Anybody who has this.. PLEASE contact me. I'd really appreciate it. (or Woj, if you can direct me to a place that could provide me with this, feel free to do so and not send this on to the list if necessary....) Thanks, Sincerely, Cyndi S. And I agree. Because of that, this video stood out for me. This was the Barclay Deveau video, which I mentioned as my clear favorite. Tori picked it as her second favorite, and mentioned that it stirred up a lot of emotion in people -- making it very odd that she picked the winner that she did, IMO. >Who can >explain to me what the winning video was about so I know which one >won? That is, >if any of you got the chance to even see them in the first place. The winning video, Susan Herbert's, was one of the two where people just got in and out of taxis for the entire video. It also happens to be the video with a threesome having sex in the taxi. It ends by focusing on the taxi driver, who has bright Tori-red hair flowing in the wind. By turns both blah and offensive, IMO. I was just at BMGMusic.com and noticed that the Strange Little Girls photo that they show for the album cover appears to have photos of 4 of the girls on them. Does anyone know if this is possible and that's how it will arrive? My guess is that they will just randomly pick one of the girls and send it that way, but upon closer look the album title is fitted in there and it just seems to appear complete not something doctored. I've included the link to the album cover below. Someone, please clear this up! There's always this list. :) The fanzine Little Blue World has an 'Ask the Expert' column in every issue that answers fans' questions about everything Tori, including collectibles. The current issue, which should have just reached the hands of subscribers, is a special issue on collecting, and includes articles about the ten Tori items that everyone should have, the best bootlegs from 1992-1996, and how to get all of the bee-sides. HTH. :) /nm ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 18 Jul 2003 18:15:53 -0400 From: "Lisa Zwick" Subject: Re: Tori's Taxivision Contest Hi, What program do these open with?
