I liked your attention to detail and I found your insights and reflections were both entertaining and thought-provoking. In particular I appreciated your comments on moving toward wholeness. You mention that this was the first of four shows for you. I hope you'll write reviews for the other three. - -bt On Sun, Mar 23, 2003 at 09:51:55PM -0600, Sarah Bowman boldly wrote: > > Ok, this is my first of four concerts, and I have to say Saturday night was > one of the most amazing experiences in my life. That's interesting - she played Taxi on the Graham Norton TV show in the UK a few weeks ago and it couldn't have been more different from how it had seemed in the concerts. The tempo was the same but it somehow seemed sluggish. Perhaps we're just used to it coming at the crest of it's wave? And at the opposite end of the sluggish spectrum Sarah said - > now what your personal opinions about drugs may be is not germane > to the story It's not germane, but good grief Sarah - Tori and E in one go? - how much damn pleasure can you take!?! 8-D Actually I've often had to describe what Tori's music can do to me to non-fans (Ears Without Feet? ... Feet Without Ears?) by comparing it to the various pharmaceutical experiences that they might have had, which are the next best thing to, say, what the second piano solo in Cornflake Girl can do to me. Still slightly Tori related - had one of the best nights out in years last week, when after about a year of nagging the DJ, me and a friend finally got him to play Raspberry Swirl at the club we go to in Manchester. Everyone else looked confused, but we were a very happy frenzy. If you told me in 1992 that one day I'd be moshing to a Tori track whilst considerably closer to the 40th than the 1st drink I think I'd have said you were Crazy.
