I do not know how many people this will reach, and I certainly do not intend to upset anyone with this post. I have decided to create a new listgroup called musicforsale. [musicforsale@yahoogroups.com] I created this list because I really hate dealing with online retailers and ebay. My experience has almost always been that the _best_ source for music items is fellow collectors! So, I decided to create a list where members could post what they have for sale (or trade) and interested parties could contact that person off of the list. Basically, this cuts out the middle-person and let's you get your items out there in front of a large group of people without having to pay listing fees and all of that. So, I hope this is the success I envison it to be! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 02:39:54 -0500 From: "Armani Boy" Subject: a new email list--update forgot the important part! to join the group, send a message to musicforsale-subscribe@yahoogroups.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 08:37:43 -0500 From: Mikewhy Subject: Presale Concert Password for this week??? I am getting a ton of emails from fans wanting to know the password for this weeks presales for the Tulsa, Spokane and Rapid City shows. It would appear that many or most fans did NOT get the normal email from toriamos.com yesterday and therefore do NOT know the password. I also did not get the email and therefore do not know the official password. I can tell you that the word vegas in lowercase only works on the Spokane password page at the time I emailed this. I normally do NOT give out tour passwords like this. However, in this case I feel I have to reveal what I know since the presale is in a few more hours and no one seems to have gotten the password. Good luck! (It is possible perhaps that Tulsa and Rapid City will not have a password?) Try vegas first and if that does not work try every word in a title to a Scarlet's Walk song till you find it! I wonder why they failed to send out a password, unless they have a new strategy of sending out passwords just a few minutes before the presale starts?! - -- Mikewhy, From one of my beloved Macs - ---------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Whitehead mikewhy@iglou.com A Dent In The Tori Amos Net Universe => "my fear is greater than my faith" Tori Amos - Suede - ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 08:51:53 -0500 From: iTard Subject: Fwd: Tulsa listing (finally) thank you david! >Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 07:30:45 -0500 >From: David Mobley >Subject: Tulsa listing (finally) > >http://premier.startickets.com/StarTickets/pipeline/ticketselect.asp?nt=BRD23MAR03&sc=BRD23MAR03 > >obviously not on sale yet, but it's nice to see that the venue's site >agrees with fanscape at least. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 10:02:58 -0800 From: "Tony Fernandes" Subject: Spokane tickets Just purchased 2 tickets this morning during the pre-sale, row C, seats 13 & 14. The seating chart for the Spokane opera house was difficult to read, but it would appear this is in the third row...I have no idea where 13 & 14 are though. Rock on! Tony What's more likely? That an all-powerful mysterious god created the universe and then decided not to give any proof of his existence? Or, that he simply doesn't exist at all? And that we created him so that we wouldn't have to feel so small and alone. -Eleanor Arroway, Contact ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2003 12:42:37 -0800 (PST) From: diana Subject: Re: Spokane tickets I had the worst experience buying tickets today! We ended up with Orch F, seats 19-21. Originally I had Row D, but then I couldn't proceed. The fricking website wouldn't come up! I ended up calling my husband and he was able to connect. He got Row D, but after he entered all the info, it said it had timed out. Finally I used a friend's computer here at work and her computer could bring the site up and I bought the F tickets. I thought this would be close to center, but from more checking I've seen seats that go up to 60+. From the Spokane Opera House site though, it doesn't appear that any seat there could be a bad seat. I could kill that seating chart though. I put it into word to try to make it bigger, but you *still* can't read the darn thing. Grrr. All in all, I'm happy that I got the seats to begin with. ;) It was just very stressful. I'm on a DSL at work, so I thought it'd go better than it did. Oh yeah, one more thing - on that seating chart it looks like that first section is doubled lettered, but maybe they're not using it? Or else, I can't see it because it's so small and blurry.lol diana - --- Tony Fernandes wrote: > > Just purchased 2 tickets this morning during the > pre-sale, row C, seats 13 & > 14.
