Hello, When I do a search of The Times (of London) website I see an article listed which is not available online without subscribing to their online service: "Visiting alien: Paul McKenna: A tear for sad Tori Amos." If anyone has seen this article and can describe it so I can tell whether it may be worth seeking out at the newsstand I would be most appreciative. Much thanks. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 Jan 2003 12:04:02 -0500 (EST) From: Richard Handal Subject: Re: Sunday Times article, anyone? Hi, Again, Sorry I wasn't clear. The article "Visiting alien: Paul McKenna: A tear for sad Tori Amos" was listed as being in yesterday's 12 Jan 2003 Sunday Times. Thanks, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 Jan 2003 13:03:10 -0800 From: Brian K Tanaka Subject: Personalized Scarlet's Walk Tour Statistics Hello. Now you can see a report of your "tour statistics" for the portion of the Scarlet's Walk tour you attended. The report shows how many songs you heard, how many times each was played, how many were played only once, average number of songs per show, all the songs you heard and how many times you heard them, et cetera. It's easy to use and I think the results are interesting. (Although, obviously, it's more interesting if you attended more than one show! ;-) The URL is: http://btanaka.freeshell.org/sw.stats The data used was derived from Sped's unspeakably cool website: "The Tori Amos Setlist Database". Currently, only the North American portion of the tour is included. If there's interest, I'll expand later. Enjoy! NOTE: I've been noticing intermittent network problems between my home network and the network where the server resides (or maybe somewhere in between) and that's causing sluggish reponse times. If you can't connect to the server, please try again later. - -- - - Brian Tanaka - - - contact info (im etc.): http://www.well.com/~btanaka/info - - tori web site: http://www.well.com/~btanaka/tori - - random tori quote: http://btanaka.freeshell.org/toriquotes ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 Jan 2003 16:30:11 -0500 From: Cyndi S Crawford Subject: Re: Personalized Scarlet's Walk Tour Statistics yaaaaaaaay Brian! ^^ I love your page. :D Sincerely, Cyndi S. I got this question from the AllExperts community (http://www.allexperts.com/ ). This guy says he needs help with something I just *can't* help with... so maybe someone among you guys knows better and can help him further... (maybe Richard Handal?). ;) I have to say, however, that I do *NOT* know this guy, am in NO WAY related to him and do not take any responsability for this question and/or his actions... so make of it what you will and help him if you must. Take care everyone, it's nice to be back. Giovanni giofabman@hotmail.com Cornflake City http://come.to/corncity Ps. On a side note, I have too thought of doing my undergraduate thesis work on Tori's "Little Earthquakes" using Foucault/Autobiography/Feminism as the academic basis. I've written a few things... maybe one day I'll get around to finishing it. Anyone in the same situation? Oh... and now that I'm on the subject... has anyone read tha book called "Disruptive Divas" which was recently published by Routledge, which discusses Tori's work, among others? I've thought of getting it, and have heard sparse comment on it being very "academic", which is very good for my intellectual purposes... does any have any comments on it?
