(she choked > up on Gold) in our hands.." and then some stupid bitch yelled something out > in the midst of this emotional silence, and Tori instantly replied, "Fuck > You!" The person in the balcony yelled out a song request for "Silent All These Years"...my brother and I were on the floor (last row but still good seats...what an amazing show!!) and heard what she yelled out as she was right above our heads. We couldn't believe it...I have no idea what was going through that woman's head...it ruined the amazing, touching, magical moment with Tori. I wonder if that exchange influenced the choice for the last song of the night, "Talula", or if Tori had chosen it already. I'm so pleased to hear that the show was taped by at least one person. It was such a powerful show...it deserves to be heard by all Toriphiles. I want to send all of you blessings, peace, love, joy, health and much happiness this holiday season and have a magical new year! Love and moonlight, DragonGirl, still on a high from Saturday's concert. - ----^-----^------(@ You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here, and whether or not it is clear to you, have no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. - -- Desiderata @)-----^-----^----- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Dec 2002 07:54:51 +0000 From: "micah maranda bailey" Subject: Re: SF SHOW 12-21 RECORDED Maria, sorry if you took it the wrong way. yeah, i was interested in getting paid for my time. however, gimme a break. i'm a loooong time tori fan but i don't delve into the trading/b&p community. hell, i didn't even know what b&p meant until a nice toriphile told me the other day. I have no idea how this stuff works. i just assumed people got paid for supplies, postage and time. I HAD NO IDEA. i'm not the kind of person to rip people off, or make a buck off Tori. I always try and share Tori with others. The more people that can hear tori, the more people that will heal from whatever has traumatized them in their lives. i didn't mean to piss you off. rest assured, that after reading woj's post, i definitely intend to go with one of his preferred methods. (oh, and woj- thanks for being nice to me) Woj- here's what i used: MiniDisc player with hyper-cardioid stereo mics by Audio Technica. we were sitting in the front row of the balcony, right over the walkway, so there were poles in front of us so we didn't fall, and no one sitting in front because it was the walkway. the applause doesn't drown out the music, but it is nearly as loud as the music. we are about to take a road trip so we haven't had the time to do anything to it but listen to it. we'll have to get to that at the beginning of the year. stuff, micah _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963 ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Dec 2002 07:59:33 +0000 From: "micah maranda bailey" Subject: sf 12-21 here's the setlist~ (not going to review now) Wampum Prayer a sorta fairytale Little Earthquakes Sweet Sangria Take To The Sky Liquid Diamonds Black-Dove (January) which was omigod beautiful Crucify Wednesday Band leaves tori says something to the effect of, "let's make up our own christmas song tonight" and then we got: A Pink Christmas, Pink is the color, there was no name to it (improv) Leather Carbon River Band returns Horses Sugar Cornflake Girl Lust Precious Things I Can't See New York Spring Haze 1st Encore Taxi Ride Your Cloud (i hated this song on the CD, but doing it live, she did it much slower and with so much more feeling, it was awesome) 2nd Encore Gold Dust (solo) Talula Hey Jupiter stuff, micah _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 limited-time offer: Join now and get 3 months FREE*. http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup&xAPID=42&PS=47575&PI=7324&DI=7474&SU= http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/getmsg&HL=1216hotmailtaglines_newmsn8ishere_3mf ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Dec 2002 03:41:17 EST From: Twinkle018@aol.com Subject: Tori Amos in Mountain Mail In a message dated 12/20/2002 4:07:02 PM Pacific Standard Time, kmtt@listenerclub.com writes: > > Tori Amos > Entire Performance > 12/08/02 > Here is the Mountain Music Lounge Performance. Im sorry if my post was rather bitchy, but I thought you were trying to make a buck off Tori or rip off EWF's, which always infuriates me. I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding trading, as I have been trading tori boots for the past 3.5 years. Again, I apologize for the bitter tone of the first email, my passion gets the best of some times. Welcome to the tori amos boot community, which wouold not exist with altruistic tapers like yourself. =) ~~Maria Trading Site: www.auburn.edu/~aguirmg ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V7 #307 *************************************
