Well my brain was in for a shock, learning that the internet presale did infact start a day before I had imagined....yeah, kinda sucks and I wish my situation onto no other fan...probably gonna check out a scalper or ebay... but am sure I will get a better ticket than one can get at this point in time on ticketmasters web page. You may be "sure," Andrew, but you may not be correct. There's nothing special about the quality of the presale tickets. I even found the ones on the first round majorly sucked when I looked at them. There's no reason not to check back regularly for new releases. You may be surprised what you come up with. Someone posted here with such an experience just a few days ago. At the risk of feeling as if I'm endlessly repeating myself, don't just check once, see nothing good, then give up. Keep checking back and giving yourself more ticket purchasing opportunities. Only those who do the work will be rewarded. Buying a ticket is not like buying a cabbage. Grocery stores don't keep better cabbages in back and randomly bring out a few more time and again before dinnertime. Some people seem unprepared to deal with this paradigm but there's a lot of metaphysics involved in buying good tickets. It isn't a one-shot, yes/no situation. Anyone treating it as though it were, sets themself up as a target for those who seek to make money off their anxiety. I think that stinks. If you really want to encourage scalping then go ahead, but you may very well do fine without paying anyone extra. Sounds crazy, I know... i live in fredericksburg... about 5 miles from the shooting at michaels and i go to school right next to the other shooting around here. all i can say is you need to live your life. there is no way you predict what anyone will do, so juts live your life the way you want to live it, and this may sound a little morbid, but if you're doing that, and you make the most of each day, then the possibility of getting shot and/or killed is just another thing, and is not the worst option because you will have no regrets... sorry for the schpeel, just a lot of this around here lately. as for tori, i'm going. i hope i see you there, as well as tori. i have a feeling she's feeling very, you know, carpe diem, about this whole thing, and why not? you live life, don't let life live you. thanks for tolerating. jenna ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 12:22:52 EDT From: MaynardsSpiral@aol.com Subject: SLC Presale. ok so i woke up and i got my tori tickets! my seats are Section FAA2, Row 8. really, i dont know where that is. has to be on the floor i bet. wow if im 8th row from the stage or sumthin i did better this time. i almost bought section FAA3, Row 17, but i said to myself 'keep lookin' i will definatly let you all know how it went! i am taking my bestfriend! i took him to tool last weekend now its time for Tori . Have many people had a chance to see the video on MTV2 (or elsewhere) yet? What do you think? Is it better or worse than you were expecting? Did it make you see the song in a different way? Do you have thoughts on any of the imagery/symbolism in the video? (I'm thinking, for instance, on the more obvious side, "why are the characters incomplete until the end?" to the less obvious (at least to me), "why specifically a leg for Tori (or for the character she plays) and why specifically an arm for the guy?") How does it stack up against her other videos, in your opinion? I'm gonna be lazy and ask without answering, for now. ;-) Oh, and I thought it would've been cool if, as long as they were doing all the cool effects and specifically cool effects that marry pairs of body parts (gee, that sounds a *lot* more interesting than I what I actually mean, ahem), they had had a brief appearance of an ear with feet -- just a quick cameo in the background. - -bt > Look for "a sorta fairytale" to make it's VH1 debut on Monday, > October 14; and its MTV2 debut Thursday, October 17 -- every hour on > the hour!
