The biggest surprise for me has been Paradiso Perduto. It's classical composing with T's very unmistakable voice that trails through the piece like a ghost running in and out of rooms. I find the entirety of both the soundtrack & score CD's to be calming. Things are very stressful in my life right now, some the very good variety of stress and some the worried kind. I think I've gravitated toward these as a means of calming my soul. Very interesting that you mention moving to a new house Dez, as I am doing a lot of moving in the very near future. Moving from California to the UK, plus we are having a house built there we will be moving into in the fall. AJ, are you in a moving process of some sort too? Must be a tie in, don't you think? Fascinating. I think the score to Great Expectations is T's little known gem. I'm certain T did Siren at one or more of the shows I attended this past tour. I could look it up but I'm lazy at the moment. She likely did it over in Europe. I'm sure someone has that info, tori-boot, Here. In My Head, or The Dent for sure. I've been moving slowly, but surely into my new house and these songs have "came out of the wood work". I was thinking of how Siren has this really flowing, water, forward kind-of-motion thing in it. It really keeps me moving... and energized. So, interesting. Dez << *What is everyone hooked on lately? I could look it up but I'm lazy at the moment. i'll save you the work, myst. :) well, actually, sped erstad saves us both the work with his lovely setlist database. according to , she did it 11 times on the last tour. specifically, in orlando, charlotte, dc2, philly, grand rapids, indy, vancouver, la3, san diego2, mannheim and basel. siren was one of the songs i would have liked to have heard tori perform this time around but, alas, she didn't play it at the shows i got to. other songs in that category include "god" (which, judging from the union chapel recording, sounded really nice in its reworked form), "pretty good year" and "bells for her". hmmm, all tracks from _under the pink_. interesting. woj ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V7 #47 ************************************
