According to the Dent (http://thedent.com/tvwatch.html specifically): Saturday Night Live on Comedy Central (Thursday, December 20, 2001) Comedy Central will once again show Tori's 1996 appearance on Saturday Night Live on Thursday, December 20, 2001 at 5:00PM ET. They will only show Tori performing one of the two songs she sang on the show originally in 1996. Click to read more about that 1996 TV appearance. However, according to tv.yahoo.com the musical guest is "Hanson" so I'm sure what will happen. If it is Tori, I wonder which song of the two will be shown... - -- - --------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Tanaka - btanaka@well.com - http://www.well.com/user/btanaka/ - --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Dec 2001 17:12:54 -0500 From: "n'woj" Subject: Re: Saturday Night Live Tonight? >However, according to tv.yahoo.com the musical guest is "Hanson" so I'm >sure what will happen. I hope everyone who hasn't seen it gets a chance to, but to me, this is one of the least interesting TV things I ever saw her do. It was done on a promo tour before she even worked out the arrangements for the songs as she was to do them on the DDI tour. Sneeze on SNL even had backing tracks she was playing along with on some oddball harpsichord that wasn't the one on the tour. She also was wearing this skirt in which she could barely get her legs apart enough to do what she had to do. All quite bizarre. I understand they had two harpsichords out with them on the road in '96 in case anything happened to the main one. If anyone has any information about the one she used on SNL being the back-up I'd be curious to hear about that. I know some folks in Online Toriville worked on local crews on the DDI Tour so maybe one of them knows. Thanks. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V6 #256 *************************************
