Made me want to know who was he. I could not get his cds, but I download his lyrics. wowwwwwwww, they are pretty personal and in your face. I admire that. I think that Tori, choose him to tour with her, because they share the same passion for truth regarding artistic expression. I love his lyrics, now I should listen to him singing :). Anyone can comment on Rufus opening acts for Tori and meeting him ? It would be much apreciated! And PLEASE make some comments on Toris shows, we unlucky fans that cannot go, are DYING to know. Bye, Daniel IF you are interested in discussing RUFUS, Mail me privatedly, I would be very glad to talk to you!. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2001 13:49:33 -0300 From: "Carlos Verrastro" Subject: CALS question. EWFs, I know there is an Unedited version for CALS, I downloaded and listen to it. But the quality was so bad that I cannot tell the difference to the album version. Could anyone tell what is the difference between CALS (unedited version) and CALS (album version) ?. Thanks, Daniel P/S: I also downloaded some wierd unofficial remixes called Caught a Lite Sneeze (Cold water remix), and Caught a Lite Sneeze (Wintermute Remix), IF you have heard them, PLEASE mail me with your toughs on them! :) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2001 15:01:42 EDT From: AnotherPilot@aol.com Subject: Philadelphia Ticket Still Available Hello Everyone, I posted this last week but nobody has taken this from me yet. Yesterday I downloaded the CALS video on Realplayer, to see it. I have seen it before, but I wanted to take a closer look. I have been thinking on the video and its meanings all day long . * To me, it stands for how both the human and the fairy world co-existing together. We get to see Tori in this old building, sitting on the white armchair, surrounded by alter-egos. This may represent the Fairy wolrd. *Then we see her in this sea, and then we discover that the sea it is a prefabricated structure, It is no real. We see some baptisms going on there and she seems to be drowing here, To me it stands for the human world. The whole thing , makes sense, in the scenes where the scenario moves, and she seems to be TRAPPED in the transition. To me it deals with how religion (represented by the baptism), seems to silent or disregard the Spiritual world ( the room where the three Toris are playing). And when you are feeling lonely or helpless, the human world seems as cold as water, /and may stand for oblivion), and how you want in those moments to escape to the spiritual world, but you end up feeling caught in the middle of the two of them, and finally you have to make a choice. Another thing that is relevant to me is in the last part, where the girl is runnig through a portal that is set on fire; it represents to me how Religion destroyed ancient beliefs and spirituality. And finally I notice that the White swan that lead us to the fairy wolrd in the begining of the video, appears later swimming in a wood floor. It sureally stands for something, it may represent the guide that is leading us into the spiritual world, it also seems to have a connection to innocence and childhood memories, that may only exist within our spiritual world, because there is the only place where they can remain alive. To sum up, I think in my HUMBLE AND POOR opinion, that deals on how we have to fight everyday to keep our spiritual and faery world alive, because the human world can bee sometimes a cold place. Aand at the same time we have to have a bond to the human wolrd. And when you try to marry both you find yourself caught in the middle. Well, that is all. I KNOW that I am a WEIRDO, and that I am only bothering you with these things. But I would REALLY like you to post on the list or post me, what you think of my interpretation, no matter if you like it or not. But I just want to hear your thoughs, because when I Post these things, nobody answers me and I end up not knowing what you thing :) Bye Daniel. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2001 22:20:33 EDT From: AnotherPilot@aol.com Subject: Meet and Greet Questions Hello!!
