Also, do fans really imitate the piano during concerts?? I've never heard of that being done...like at a rock concert, i've never seen fans imitate the guitars. If you listen to the solo version of 'Juarez' on the 'So High. Solo' boot, near the end Tori sings 'no angel came for my little GIRLS'. I always wondered why she referred to the miscarriage she had that the public knew about as plural...now I know why... Just a thought Laura PS. The Cornflake Girl video being shown on VH-1 with SLG is the European version (birdcage at beginning, black and white bits with Tori flying into spiders' web et cetera) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Sep 2001 12:16:20 +0100 From: Topher Subject: Any Union Chapel pictures ? Seriously? I do that all the time. Especially on big fun parts like the Cornflake Girl solo toward the end I just jam away on my air piano. lol. And the intro to Precious Things. Hell yeah. I mean, most ppl don't do it. It just connects some of us that much that we feel the need to replicate the production, I guess. > like at a rock concert, i've never seen fans imitate the guitars. Now THAT is seriously odd. I do that even more than with Tori and the piano. I do drums too. LOL. I'm just a big faker, that's all there is to it. But yeah. Big loud rock shows (A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails was a good example) I always end up banging away at the drums in front of my head and the guitar in front of my waist. lol. matthew. if you place a thing in the center of your life that lacks the power to nourish, it will eventually poison everything that you are and destroy you. as simple a thing as an idea or your perspective on your self or the world. no one can be the source of your contempt. it lies within. in the center. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Sep 2001 16:35:49 -0500 From: "mr zebra" Subject: Re: Tori's Miscarriages > sings 'no angel came for my little GIRLS'. See, I thought this song was about the rapes and murders in Juarez, Mexico, and not Tori's miscarriage(s). So the angels didn't came for the girls there in that situation. But maybe she hijacked it and made it something different for that show. I dunno. It depends on your interpretation. Could be Mexicans. Could be feotuses. matthew. if you place a thing in the center of your life that lacks the power to nourish, it will eventually poison everything that you are and destroy you. as simple a thing as an idea or your perspective on your self or the world. no one can be the source of your contempt. it lies within. in the center. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Sep 2001 18:07:03 EDT From: SatelliteNo2@aol.com Subject: Which side does she face when performing onstage? What are the restrictions that you endure? AJ ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V6 #160 *************************************
