Can anyone confirm this, and if so, can anyone e-mail me an MP3 of these, or something? I really would appreciate it, I am trying to collect all her Under the Pink b-sides to make my personal Under the Pink b-sides CD to listen to. Black Dove ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2001 03:17:33 EDT From: Dracovixen@aol.com Subject: B-sides Ok, I've made a list of b-sides (including covers, soundtracks, live, and remixes) from both the Little Earthquakes and the Under the Pink eras. I want to burn this all to CD, but first I want to make sure I have everything, and everything in the right era. (Yes, I went out and bought all the singles I could find, but some I do not have, and had to download some.) Little Earthquakes: 1. Upside Down 2. Thoughts 3. Mary 4. Flying Dutchman 5. Smells lIke Teen Spirit 6. Ode to the Banana King 7. Song for Eric 8. Here. In My Head 9. Angie 10. Thank You 11. The Pool 12. Take to the Sky 13. Sweet Dreams 14. Sugar 15. Humpty Dumpty 16. The Happy Workers Live Stuff and Mixes 1. Mother 2. Happy Phantom 3. Little Earthquakes 4. Crucify 5. Precious Things 6. Little Drummer Boy 7. Silent All These Years 8. Crucify (remix) Under the Pink: 1. Home on the Range: Cherokee Edition 2. God (no guitar) 3. God (some guitar) 4. All the Girls Hate Her 5. Over It 6. Sister Janet 7. A Case of You 8. If 6 Was 9 9. Strange Fruit 10. Honey 11. Black Swan 12. Daisy Dead Petals 13. Butterfly 14. Losing My Religion 15. Famous Blue Raincoat 16. Down by the Seaside Live Stuff and Remixes 1. Winter 2. Waitress 3. Here. In My Head 4. Past the Mission 5. Icicle 6. Flying Dutchman 7-9. God Remixes Are there any errors here? These are all off of singles and promos (as well as the soundtracks, basically anything that was non-lp). "Winter" may have been a song off of LE, but the live version of it was from a single of an UTP song, and the same with a couple other songs listed here. Am I missing anything? I would really appreciate any help. For those of you who are subscribed to the Tori-boot mailing list, there is a complete listing of Tori's songs, including what release they come from. You can view this listing at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tori-boot/database/ If you're not subscribed to Tori-boot, and are interested in trading Tori's live performances, you can do so at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tori-boot/ HTH. :) /nm ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2001 12:52:48 -0400 From: nmielke@mindspring.com Subject: Re: God with or wthout guitars Dracovixen@aol.com wrote: [snip] > I have never heard of the "no guitar" and "some guitar" versions. > Can anyone confirm this, and if so, can anyone e-mail me an MP3 of > these, or something? It was sent to radio stations because some had expressed an interest that "God" had too much guitar. In the end, the radio stations played the album version, which has all the guitar. You might wish to purchase a copy of _Tori Amos Collectibles_ by Paul Campbell to learn more about what is out there. The book has complete descriptions, including full-colour pictures, of nearly every Tori Amos item in existence up through 1997. (Thus, it's obviously missing anything from FtCH, TVaB, and now SLG.) [1] It's an awesome book to have, so you can drool over those items you'll never get your hands on, like the "Smells Like Tori Amos" deodorant or the "Winter" snowglobe. But, beyond the drooling (and snickering) over promos, it has all of the promos and CD singles and soundtracks. If you're compiling a bee-sides compilation, this is an awesome place to start. HTH. :) /nm [1] Well, to be fair, its coverage of posters is pretty abysmal. And it's missing some of those radio station compilation albums, too. /nm ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2001 14:20:09 -0400 From: strange little woj Subject: second washington, dc show! megan was the first to alert us to a second show being added at the d.a.r. constitution hall in washington, dc on sunday, october 7th at 8pm. tickets will go on sale on saturday, august 18th at 10am eastern time from ticketmaster at: https://ticketing.ticketmaster.com/cgi/purchasePage.asp?event_id=150033107B1321DD&event_code=ECH1007E&MajorCATID=10001&MinorCATID=&artistID=749136 woj ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2001 15:06:58 -0400 From: "becka" Subject: the complete album link i already forgot who posted this link, but thank you so much for posting it.. now i DEFINATELY can't wait till the album release.. i'm so in love with the songs.. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2001 15:46:49 -0400 From: strange little woj Subject: second washington, dc show! >megan was the first to alert us to a second show being added at the d.a.r. >constitution hall in washington, dc on sunday, october 7th at 8pm. tickets >will go on sale on saturday, august 18th at 10am eastern time from >ticketmaster at: > >https://ticketing.ticketmaster.com/cgi/purchasePage.asp?event_id=150033107B1321DD&event_code=ECH1007E&MajorCATID=10001&MinorCATID=&artistID=749136 thanks to robert kane for pointing out that the second washington, dc show is, like the first one, on sale to those with the toriamos.com password at the above url.
