I kept that post, and just now referred to all the URLs in it looking for any mention of Blood Roses. My husband's band wanted to do a Tori cover....the singer knows I'm a torinut, and I think he thought it'd piss me off....actually I thought it'd be lots of fun and suggested Blood Roses as it has been reinterpreted with the band, as that is my favourite band redoo next to Horses. Plus, it's pretty heavy, and Dave's band is a heavier sort of stuff. So, a torifriend of mine had the Pele sheet music, and we have been looking over it. And I'm wondering if anyone knows how true to life it is. Or especially if anyone had noted any differences in how she now plays it live. If anyone has any information to contribute about this I'd really appreciate it. Also, I'm wondering what anyone thinks she's saying in the improv bit she does at the end....where she says "you know that I can take you in". I can catch bits and fragments of it, but I'm not sure I'm always hearing what I think it sounds like I'm hearing. Any thoughts on that aspect of the song would also be welcomed. thanks to all..... ~~julie ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #256 *************************************
