I can't believe Tori's sublime statement has been coined a "Stupid Quote of the Day" by Emazing.... see below... Anyway - she doesn't sound stupid to me - considering previous quotes are like George Bush saying "Is our children learning?" - --peace, love, peace, love, peace, love, peace love... I saw her at the Border's Books in Cleveland, Ohio yesterday afternoon. I was totally amazed. I had an advanced copy of the CD so I knew the vibe before hand. I was awestruck... She incorporates excerpts from tapes she found of her deceased father in with her songs -- very much like a conversation with a ghost, or an old friend. The sound is very much like that of VENUS as it has that "industrial" type underlaying. Afterwards, she stayed for HOURS and signed autographs, talking to fans. Very much like Tori in her old days. Her fan club, ANGRY PSYCHOS, had a listening party for her new CD, "HAUNTED" at this member's apartment 30 minutes away from where Border's was. POE, her brother Mark, her accompanying DJ, Tour Manager and Bus Driver drove to this girl's apartment. Unfortunately the bus was lost so we had to go find it and direct it back. Despite a long day and getting lost, Poe still had a smile on her face and was ready to hang. She came to the party, met with her fan club memebers, ate cheetos, took pics and even called a girl's sister to talk to her because she was unable to make the concert. This demonstrates what an artist should do for her. I can't describe how gracious and genuine of a person she is. She, very much like Tori, listens to every word that a fan (or friend) says. Weighing each thought... I urge everyone to check out HAUNTED you will feel the same... "No one else will share our thoughts, you were there for me when I was lost. Now you're just a memory of someone we wanted you to be. You were always the one to fall, now it's your time to show them who's tall." ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! For anyone who interested here's what I found on my own for Tori's sign: Rabbit people love to play under the moonlight. Quite fanciful, they respond to the power and beauty of nature and are always being pulled one way and the other to examine what they find. They are the luckiest of all twelve signs! But, it's more a result of "the harder I work, the luckier I get" than taking crazy chances. They are cautious, conservative, bright, and have a good head for business. Supremely pleasant to have around, these affectionate, naturally shy peacemakers seldom ever lose their temper. They sometimes appear to be singing the blues because of a natural but short-lived tendency towards despondency. Rabbits always inspire deep admiration and trust. Ginger Soup and Ginger Noodles are among the keys to good health!! High on a mountain bluff, the Water Rabbit enjoys the immensity of solitude. Like typical Rabbits, the Water Rabbit is quiet, but don't let this fool you. Water Rabbits are always STRONG silent types. Beneath the passive reserve lies a smoldering ember ready to enjoy life to the fullest extent possible. In solitude there is peace, spirit, nature, strength, music, and a strong philosophical current that keeps anchor in the soul of Water Rabbit. The Neon and Glitter People truly admire the Water Rabbits for their individuality, not unlike that of the lone rugged cowboy seen against jagged mountain peaks. Water Rabbits make friends easily, but have a tendency to be too trusting. Gullibility is not a safe trait to have! Water Rabbits are happy to find creative outlets through their very fulfilling careers. Their determination to rise to the top makes them well regarded in their fields. When it comes to making money, it's "easy come, easy go" - money just slips through their fingers and Rabbits gasp with bewilderment, "Where did it go?" Time to find a good financial advisor. "Easy come, easy go" is also the mantra of their love lives. Falling in love too easily leads to heartbreak. Once they learn to hold back and find true love, they throw away romantic interludes for love everlasting. Famous RABBIT people: Hu Shih, Hu Yao-Bang, Kim Young Sam, Sally Ride, Leonardo Di Caprio, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Arturo Toscanini, Leontyne Price, Clare Boothe Luce, Tiger Woods. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
