I am now doing a poll on everyone's favorite cover song done by Tori. Just send me a personal email listing your TOP *5* favorite ones. It can be covers Tori has actually recorded or ones she just does in concert. There's no need to specify between the two. I'd like to get as many votes as possible. It makes these polls more fun! I will accept votes probably through next Friday, so go ahead and vote! THANKS A BUNCH!!!! The fanzine is 30 pages, measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches, and is printed on coated heavyweight inkjet paper. The first issue has about 27 Tori meet & greet photos. Meet and Greet pictures are the only kinds I can legally use in the fanzine (because of copyright weirdness), so I am always in need of more. If you would like to share any meet and greet pictures you've taken, please contact me and let me know what we can do. In every issue, I am going to profile one or two Ears with Feet. If you would like to be seen, you can write a Tori-related story about yourself and include any pictures, poetry, art, or whatever you have been inspired to produce. Choose 4 - 10 pictures of yourself or your Tori stuff or you and Tori together or whatever. I can send the pictures and stuff back after scanning them, if you like (or you can email the scans to me at the preferred resolution). "yes, said" is an extension of the Toriphoria web site, devoted to the quoted Words of Tori Amos. Issue #1 of "yes, said" will be released on December 1, 2000. Following issues will be released every 3 months. Annual subscriptions are $20. This covers the cost of paper, ink, and postage for 4 issues. Email me if you would like to subscribe and/or contribute: yessaid@aol.com I must say, I am very pleased with how issue #1 turned out. It's really beautiful. :) I'm very excited about the whole thing, still. take care. j'ason ~~ t o r i p h o r i a - the Word of Tori Amos www.crosswinds.net/~nosaidyes ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Oct 2000 23:50:34 CDT From: "Gate Keeper" Subject: Live Song Poll Results Hi Everyone! No, that's the usual case. She's had a lot of trouble with really frigtening fucking stalkers, so she doesn't do anything like that. She is a lot freer with the wandering around outside w/ a couple of friends kind of thing, though...I know a few people who have met her that way. And *ahem* the new songs are the best part of Ani shows! Gets to be kind of like clue work. We know what the next album we be like before it even comes out. annie ------------------------------ Date: 28 Oct 00 18:42:10 EDT From: aleksandra Subject: poe...and tori i thought since i got on this list from the poe list ages ago i might sneak this one by...being no longer on that mailing list and not knowing of a site with good information about poe i was wondering if someone could explain to me her touring...it said on pollstar that she's doing shows at borders music and books but i can't find info anywhere... thanks... and does anyone know if tori is still or ever was working on that movie score? a. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1 ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #247 *************************************
