Argh! When the hell are the journalists ever going to get it into their heads that Tori *never was a Cornflake Girl*??? She's a frickin' Raisin Girl. Sheesh. I'm so happy for Tori and Mark. This completely kicks ass. I think Tori will make a fabulous mom. :) It will be interesting to watch her child grow up too. I wonder if she will be a musical genious. Seeing who her parents are, I wouldn't be surprised. Diana __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Perhaps Amos' past may have had something to do it. The singer was expecting three years ago, but ended up having a miscarriage. (Amos has said that emotional experience became the inspiration for her 1998 release, From the Choir Girl Hotel.) Not long after, Amos met Hawley at his studio in Cornwall, England, where she recorded tracks for Choir Girl. The couple tied the knot in 1998 at a medieval castle in Britain." not long after the miscarriage, she MET Mark? if i'm not mistaken, the miscarried baby was his. that would be weird to meet him after the fact! :) tasha ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Sep 2000 01:41:19 -0400 (EDT) From: Ellen Morris Subject: Re: TORI'S BABY IS BORN!!!!!! If that was so then he impregnated her via time and space continuum because truth is he was that lost little one's daddy too. (There are credits for Mark on Tori's music dating back to '95. In fact, Mark would have been around while Tori was grieving and recovering over Eric. The best man won her heart if you ask me, way to go Mark!) It was their shared grief over the miscarriage in '97 that brought them to a place of realizing they were "it" and got hitched. I bet Tori is reading all the misinformation stuff on her lil one and laughing. Truth is, we all kinda knew she was expecting but she laid so low no one had proof. My indication that she was trying to have a family was simply a timeline one. Every 2 years since '92 Tori released a CD in the spring. That was followed in the summer by a tour. Last fall she changed that by releasing TVAB in September while touring with Alanis, a full 6 months early. She then toured until late December and promptly fell off the face of the earth. Given the date of the birth and weight of the baby I'd say she carried full term and got pregnant around Mid-November. A planned baby my guess. I can totally understand why they chose to keep the blessed event a secret. Some people hound her. (A widdle hint-hint to someone I KNOW who has gone though her garbage, you know who you are!) She's as entitled to a private life as you or I. Though, I'd like to request we get one teensy-weensy pic of her preggers. I bet she was radiant. Congratulations Tori & Mark on your bundle of joy! Happy Baby Toodles ~ MysT The Tori question of the week seems to be: What should Tori and Mark name their new princess? I took a dare from my best friend Tom and here I go... How about: Famous !?! OK, there ya go Tom, you owe me 10 bucks bud, pay up! *** In a message dated 9/7/00 11:06:31 PM Pacific Daylight Time, owner-precious-things-digest@smoe.org writes: << Date: Thu, 07 Sep 2000 16:41:02 CDT From: "bRAINY bOY" Subject: One story on a site about the new baby http://news.excite.com/news/eonline/000907/10/toris-new-cornflake cute article about the baby. `Brad >> ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 08 Sep 2000 07:10:16 -0500 From: ckerley Subject: Re: TORI'S BABY IS BORN!!!!!! the baby is a virgo. saggitarius is late november and most of december. catherine Carmen Riojas wrote: > sept. 5th. that would make her a Saggitarius?
