What a fabulous day! It is official! The following press release is from Tori's management: TORI AMOS ANNOUNCES LONG-AWAITED NEW RELEASE: A BABY GIRL! Atlantic recording artist Tori Amos and her husband, recording engineer Mark Hawley, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter. Born on September 5th, the baby weighed 7-pounds, 1-ounce and measured 21 inches at birth. This is the first child for both Amos and Hawley, and all three are doing very well. Upon feeding her daughter for the first time, Tori noted that "an ounce of breast milk is even more potent than the finest tequila." There's a new Tori songbook! Tori Amos: For Easy Piano. Just came out in August ~ Yippeee! Lyrics & cords for 14 songs, including: Silent All These Years, China, Little Earthquakes, Pretty Good Year, Winter, In The Springtime of His Voodoo, Cornflake Girl, Mr. Zebra, Raspberry Swirl, Jackie's Strength, Cooling, 1000 Oceans & Bliss. Sadly, nothing that can't be gotten on one of the previous songbooks I'm afraid, but Hey! It's another Tori book! Works for me :-) Someone who plays piano get it and let us know if the cords are complete or in exchange for complete, easy (as the title claims). K? It pretty much goes through each song on the cd and the artists tell a little about their song, etc. The Tori part is maybe 5 to 10 minutes long. I think I paid like $5 for mine at a used cd shop, so I guess I would check ebay first or something to see if you could get it any cheaper than they have it for. I really don't know the value of it as a collectible, though. I hope this helped you out! I know this has topic is kinda old, but I finally decided to join in. My favorite all time Tori song, (though not the one I deem to be her best) is Here in My Head. That song is just connected to my soul. I had the wonderful experience of hearing it live on her 98 PrePlugged Tour in Atlanta where I was standing in the very front. I must say that was one of the most memorable nights for me ever. The security guy in front of me thought I was a freak, but the other toriphiles around me knew exactly what was going through me as I cryed my eyes out. Other songs that make me cry is Playboy Mommy, Winter, & Mother. Of course, I cry all the time at Tori concerts, not usually because of the songs, but because of the whole Tori concert experience itself. =) ~~MaRia Wanna Trade?
