Last week they had around twelve copies. They also have several cheap Book & CD sets (not Tori, but they had Alanis, REM, Annie Lennox and a few others) for 99 cents each, and they had a copy of the Pele sheet music for $12.99. (Only one copy) Hope that helps someone, Mike ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Jul 2000 13:05:32 -0400 From: gillian riley Subject: friends is anyone from Miami? > From: "Terry Ferrell" > Reply? To: "Terry Ferrell" > Date: Sun, 30 Jul 2000 10:37:44 EDT > To: precious?things@smoe.org > Subject: VA/Radford ewf > > > Hey Guys, > > I was just wondering if anyone on this list attends Radford University or is > in that area of Virginia. Joel, her bodyguard, has confirmed it to fans on other tours. Also, a reliable Toriphile posted to the Dent not long ago that she just ran into Tori last week or the week before, and Tori told her she was 7-1/2 months pregnant, due, I think, in the middle of August. She was showing, of course. So, it's TRUE. K? Wow - that's the 18th time in 12 months by my reckoning. If *all* these rumours were true the poor woman would've been kidnapped by the FBI by now ;-) Seriously though, bearing in mind the terrible loss of her last baby, wouldn't it really be respectful for us to lay off on this one until she *decides* to make some kind of public announcement? It's her family, her property, until/unless she chooses to share it with us, and though completely full of good-will and happiness, us EWFs do tend to get a *bit* stalky when babies get mentioned... If Tori does 'announce' a pregnancy (which she isn't obliged to) you can bet yer bottom Euro that it'll be up on http://thedent.com quick as flash. And since it isn't, I think we really should assume she isn't (even if she is... if you're following this!) until she chooses to... (fingers crossed though, of course!) Pete "Coping? At least, I - think- it is unusual, because I've never seen it mentioned in tori-land. That is what I am wondering, if anyone else has this....or knows of it...or whatever. I know it's worth nothing [they were giving them away], but I've become curious as to how common it is in the Tori community. It is a paper sample book...the kind mills make for their specialty lines to advertise the paper and show designers swatches of it. Paper sample books are usually amazingly printed and designed...they really go all out to advertise, and as such designers like myself tend to have quite a collection of them. This one was found by a friend of mine in her agencies "library" and she snatched it for me. It is from Simpson papers, and it samples their Coronado SST Recycled line. It is titled "Photo Reproduction On Coronado [Tools of the Trade] - Artist Series #4". And it has a big ole picture of Tori on the front....a close up of her face. [There's no other Tori in it anywhere else.] The book is quite large as these things go, 12" high by 9" wide, and has a spiral binding which is hidden on the back of the book [doesn't show from the front]. I don't think it's a particularly rare shot of Tori, I think I may have seen it somewhere else before, but I can't recall where. I have no idea who was on the other books in this Artist Series. Anyway, I've had this for over a year, maybe more, and who knows how long it was stuffed on the shelves of my friend's Co before that, so I have no idea when exactly it is from. Anybody out there familiar with this item?? ~julie ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #173 *************************************
