I really really want to see the video! >thanks I had the same problem. I don't know what it was but it wouldn't work on my old comp. (an oldie mac) but when i put it on my new comp (G4 mac) it worked and i think this was how: there's a file somewhere on the CD that says something like: index.html. open that and it takes you to the atlantic records site. register with them and then follow the links to the video and you can view it. i don't know why the HyperCD thing doesn't work. or maybe it does and they left the instructions out about the index.html file. BTW, you have to do the same thing for the single of 1000 Oceans which has the 1000 Oceans video on it. Gorgeous video, i don't understand it yet, but it's gorgeous. If this doesn't work, email me and i'll put the CD in to see what I did. Don't worry tho, the video is there, you just gotta hunt for it. :-) - --Liquid Pie ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Jul 2000 16:00:05 -0700 (PDT) From: Audrina Parker Subject: my new webpage Hi even though this page has nothing to do about tori (and i am a big fan of her) i was wondering if you could send this out so it can get exposure. I made it so I can try and sell my paintings. I only have 3 paintings up there so far. And when you click on the painting, it takes a minute or two for it to upload, and it doesn;t look so fancy and stuff. But i would like it to get exposure and thought maybe you could helkp. See, I always believe people are like me, honest! I literally get floored when I see this kinda stuff. I'm cautious... I guess that's why I'd want to see a pic of the pricey rare item next to a current copy of the NY Times or USA Today. So this guy has no PT to sell? He takes the money and never sends the CD? Does eBay know about him? I have one bidder now who has a -3 Feedback rating and the 3 sellers who left complaints about him said his email is bogus, he bids high and never pays, doesn't contact the seller, leaves negative feedback etc. I'm about to cancel his bid and I'm hella glad those 3 sellers took the time to warn others. To some eBay is a childish game. The proverbial "bad apples" that spoil the rest. Oy! If anyone knows this Jaymes persons eBay name please let me know so I can avoid him like the plague. I'd also like to check out his feedback, if he has any. I imagine he changes email addy's and gets new eBay names to continue the charade. What a waste of energy! Another potential buyer emailed him and asked if he would be willing to do either a COD or use an escrow service (the buyer was willing to pay all costs associated with it), and Jaymes refused. What does that tell you about him? If you look at the list of bids, a couple of bidders retracted their bids after seeing my post about Jaymes. In addition, a few people have apparently mailed all the bidders and let them know what happened. The high bidder isn't the only one at risk here -- it would be trivial for Jaymes to go down the list of bidders and say "hey, the high bidder backed out, are you interested?" and rip them off too. /nad >> ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #158 *************************************
