Makes me feel like there is more hope to someday own one myself - Someday ~ Right now I'm not even in a position to spend that kind of expendable cash on a Tori item. I'm divorced, have 3 kids and an ex who hasn't paid his child support in years. Moneys OK - I own my own business; but raising 2 teenage girls & a near teen son can be bookoo expensive. Oh well... someday. At least I've got an original signed YKTR CD and a YKTR LP with the original plastic wrapping - stickers and all. I have to say this to comfort myself cause I really would have liked to have that "Baltimore" but It would have meant dissing the mortgage company or not paying for the kids summer camps, and silly me has to be a "responsible adult" :::deep sigh::: Too sad to give a proper toodles ~ MysT ***By the way can everyone say a 'lil prayer for my sanity please. I'll be at an 'N Sync concert with my 16 year old Friday nite as you read this - Rose Bowl/Los Angeles. Teenybopper Central! Oy Vey!!! Anyone know for sure >OR own a "Baltimore"??? I'm hella curious! You're misinterpreting what the Collectibles book says about the Baltimore single. It says that there are ten in circulation, not in existence. That means that, at the time of the publication of the book, there were ten copies of the single that were known to be in the hands of Tori collectors. That does -not- mean that Reverend Amos only had ten printed. In fact, he probably couldn't only have ten made. When you pay for your own pressing of an album like that, there are minimums as to how many you can have pressed. At that time, he would have had at least 250 made, if not 500. When something like that is published, usually the number in the hands of collectors increases. Why? Because people who were given a copy years ago by someone (likely the Reverend himself) go through their attics and discover that they still have the bloody thing. And why keep it, when you know there's someone out there willing to pay $800 and up for it? So they sell it and make quite a handsome profit. By my own counts, there are at least twice that number in the hands of collectors now. I can name at least 10 people who have them. /nad {and yes, I'm one of 'em} >> ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #135 *************************************
