Comparing the picture to the > necklace that I bought on the 1994 tour, they're identical. Two different versions of the '98 Swirl necklace were made and sold in '98--the second one being cheapened. Sounds as if more than one version of the '94 necklace was made in '94, too. Interesting. I wonder about the '96 necklace. I only saw one version of it, but I mainly just bought mine and that was it. I'd be curious to see input on this from others, if anyone else can shed any light on this whole idea. Thanks. Be seeing you, Richard Handal, H.G. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 May 2000 14:26:30 EST From: "Shaigirl ..." Subject: Tori Shot from Halloween'98 Just in case you're interested... while browsing my favorite radio station's webpage (95.7 The Rocket), I found a picture of Tori and two contest winners at the W.Lafayette, IN (Purdue University) show (Halloween night of the Plugged'98 tour). I thought it was pretty cool, because a couple weeks before the concert itself, the station was doing a very cool promotion & contest. Every once awhile (about twice, maybe three times a day), they'd play a "Tori Montage" (snippets of the Tori songs they play on the station... SATY, God, Cornflake, Spark, Raspberry, etc). When you heard the montage, you called in, and caller 10 won a pair of tickets to the show. Plus you were automatically entered in for the grand prize which was a limo, dinner before the show, front row seats, and backstage passes for a meetngreet with Tori. I was fortunate to win tickets to the show (it was my first Tori show and I had awesome seats). BTW... the guy in the picture was the grand winner and the girl was his date. I just thought it was pretty cool. *shrug* ~Shaigirl http://www.wgbd.com/image/shots/wgbd_tori.html ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V5 #116 *************************************
