I have been wondering about the current estimate prices for an item that for some reason are not in the regular "price" lists. Has anyone got any idea of how could be the Crucify UK 7" Misprint worth? A lovely friend of mine in the UK was nice enough to give one of her two copies away to me and I just got it. This Crucify 7" (for those who are just finding out about this) is a record that came out in the UK but whose first pressing was done wrongly and the label spelled "Here. In My Hand" instead of "Here. In My Head". According to the Collectibles book (by Paul Campbell) this variation is "very collectible" since, I'm guessing, the mistake was quickly corrected. I have another question. Does anyone know why the Silent All These Years 12" Second Pressing is so difficult (impossible?) to find? I've never seen one for sale and it's weird because I have seen (and own as well) the Me And A Gun 12" for sale often. I make this comparison because the MAAG releases came out a year before the SATY 2nd-round releases so the latter should be easier to find. I've seen more Baltimore 7"s on eBay than SATY 12"s 2nd. Edition! Weird. The Me And A Gun 7" is also extremely hard to find and I have seen again NONE for sale. These things shouldn't be impossible to get. How much would those two items be worth? Third (and last), Paul Campbell shows in his book some particular items, I'm referring to the test-pressing and in-house promo 7"s and cassettes for Crucify (limited and regular), Winter, and even Little Earthquakes (the whole album),. among others. I'm guessing those things are only owned by Mr. Campbell... but well, I'm curious, does anyone own any of those? They seem impossible to get. Well, that's it... thanks for listening. Giovanni PS. Any germans on this list?? Please email me! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Apr 2000 19:58:42 -0400 From: "Lynne Toussaint" Subject: Re: Collectibles and such LE was rereleased on vinyl, as far as I know... my town's record store can get them pretty easily, and I've got one on hold right now for me. At the moment they've got two copies, and both are very high quality vinyl. They seem to be able to get a lot of rare things (four or five winter singles every couple of weeks, the misprint of glory of the eighties, under the pink - pink vinyl, bfp clear vinyl, ftcgh limited edition vinyl) but hey, these might not be as rare as I think. If you happen to find MAAG on vinyl would you let me know? I'll pay you dearly for it... :) peace christina - ----- Original Message ----- From: Giovanni Mantilla To: Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2000 7:23 PM Subject: Collectibles and such > > Hi everyone, > > Now that people are talking about collectibles and how they go crazy (I do > too!) when they see that an interesting Tori item is approachable and > affordable, I must ask something.
